Chapter 39
The minute i wake up, i find myself in a complete mess. My hair was everwhere , my makeup all over my face, and my eyes red and puffy. I went downstairs to eat breakfast. No one was home. Both my mom and dad were at work, and they dont come back until 8. I decided to look around my house. I havent been here for years. Ive missed this place so much. I noticed my parebts did a make over in the living room. New curtains, sofas, and they painted the walls a mustard yellow. Yellow. I thought to myself. Ross's favorite color. I felt the tears coming again. I fell onto the couch and cried my heart out. But i had to move on, right? I turned on the TV, and watched MTV's Awkward. I love this show. It took my mind off things. But then i heard a knock on the door.
I stood up and went to open it. It was Sarah. She didnt even say Hi. She just walked right in. I closed the door and faced her. "Valerie. How's it going?" She says, smiling evil, while sitting down on the couch. "What do you want?" I ask. "Just here to remind you. Ross is mine. And now that Im pregnant, and he's the father, you CANT come between us." I look down. "I-i know that." I manage to say. She gets up. "Great. Well, I just came back from the doctors's with Ross. We did a checkup on my baby, to see if he or she is great." "Thats nice to know." "Yes. And the results should come in one hour." I look up. "Can you leave?" I say, trying not to cry. She walks towards me, pushes me to the wall with her elbow, nearly choking me. "Listen you little bitch. Do not come between me and Ross. Or else." I cough and push her off. "Get off!" She nearly fell. "Be careful asshole! Im pregnant." She yells. "I-im sorry." she walks closer to me, and i just back away. "You better be." I then hear the front door open. "Valerie!" I turn to see who it is.
