Derek's POV
I know I should have told the pack about our plan sooner, but I just could not bring myself to worry Stiles anymore than he already was. I could hear Casey's breathing as she was walking up. It was very uneven; she sounded like she was on the verge of a panic attack. I told the pack I would be right back. They all looked at me very confused, but no one said anything.
I came back shortly with Casey following very slowly behind me. Everyone in the pack became very alert with her arrival. Stiles had a look of betrayal on his face, but I did not know if it was for Casey or myself. Casey closed her eyes and opened them as they flashed red. Which reminded me to take her to Deaton after this.
"Why did you bring the traitor here, Derek," Erica said in great disgust.
"I am not technically a traitor. I was never actually apart of your pack or whatever you call this," Casey said while waving my hand around.
Erica did not like what Casey had to say, but it was the truth and we all knew it. It was time to get to the point of why I called Casey here. I growled to get everyone's attention, and everyone sat down but was still alert. Casey remained standing next to me looking even more than before. I looked at her for her to explain, and I think she got the memo and still said nothing. It is honestly hard to believe that this is the same person I had seen just hours earlier beating up her own brother. I decided to jump in and explain for her.
"Casey came to me before the pack meeting on Wednesday, and she told me Theo had recruited her in his pack. She told me about her whole power situation, and that he could help her control it. She thought she could get close enough to Theo for him to tell her his plans, and she could let me know before it happened," I said with confidence in my voice.
"So basically you were the first to know she had powers." Stiles said getting a little teary eyed. "Why him, huh?" he asked looking back at Casey, who still said nothing.
"Um, actually I was the first to know. We were arguing in her room, and things got really heated and all of her glass shattered besides the window in her room," Stuart said looking very convicted.
"Why did you guys not tell me," Stiles said looking and the other two Stilinksi siblings.
Casey still had not said a single word, and I don't think she planned on doing so anytime soon.
"Casey made me promise not to, and I was not going to break that promise unless it was necessary," Stuart practically growled.
"You mean unless I told your secret right, because if I kept my mouth shut you would keep yours. Say what you actually mean, Stuart. You might be fooling everyone else, but you are not fooling me at all," Casey finally spoke up and she meant business.
"Can we get back to the real reason I called you here, Casey," I finally decided to interrupt before things went wrong. No one actually said anything. "Well, Casey and I are going to Deaton's be back in an hour or so.
"I want to go," both of the Stilinski twins said with such determination. I almost said yes.
"No, besides I also need to talk to her alone anyway, get some intel off of her," I said so unsure of myself.
After that incident, Casey and I left immediately for Deaton's. We were about to find out what Casey was and what she could do.
