I cleaned up my skin and some of the blood drawn and grabbed the extra clothes I got for Mitchell and headed back to my office.

I changed into a pair of sweatpants and a long sleeve since I was going home shortly.

I threw the shirt at him and he smirked pulling it over his bitten and bruised chest.

"Still hate me? Didn't get it all out?" He teased.

"I will always hate you Mitch, because you left me." I said picking up some things I pushed off my desk.

"I came back for you, Bella." He said and I glanced at him.

"You came back because your brother and his rat of a friend fucked up. Don't lie to me Mitch." I frowned.

"I was only gone for six months and when I came back I was coming to see you!" He said.

"Mitchell what do you want from me?" I asked.

"Date me." He said taking my hand and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Date you? I literally just ate your skin."

"And I pretty much ate yours. Date me Bella, please." He begged.

"You would go against your brother and your Mafia?"

"For you, yes. If he doesn't want to come then he can run it himself. Anyone who wants to follow me can come here."

"You realize what you're saying." I said widening my eyes.

"Yes and I'm willing to do it for you." He assured.

"A-alright." I said stuttering slightly. A grin spread across his face and he bent down capturing my mouth with a sweet, soft kiss. None of the ones where are teeth and lips were attacking each other, but a gentle kiss.

He pulled back slowly and I smiled as he rested his chin on top of my head.

"Who took your virginity?" He asked curiously as I wrapped my arms around his torso. I needed a good hug and he had a nice well built torso.

"Carson." I said simply and he stiffened.

"Carson? What? When?" He asked.

"Grade eleven. I thought he was hot so we hooked up a couple of times, friends with benefits and then we just died off. He's a bit too gentle for me in bed." I said and he began chuckling.

"He didn't bite your skin hard enough?" He laughed and I felt his chest rumble.

"No, just a bit too gentle. Sometimes you want to be a little rough." I grinned.

"I can tell." He noted.

"Anyways I need to go home. I'm tired." I said rubbing my eyes.

"Are you still not sleeping well?" He asked cupping my face.

"I have some medicine that knocks me out but it is so strong that I can't take it all the time. It's weird sleeping with no dreams." I sighed.

"You have your own place now?" He asked.

"A bachelorette pad. My uncle Kane retired and I wanted to give him and my aunt some space. My aunt comes and checks on me all the time along with Deacon but not right now because he is healing."

"Yea, I had nothing to do with that. I'm sorry." He said scratching the back of his neck. I turned and grabbed my bag and placed it over my shoulder.

"You sure you want to come?" I asked hesitantly and he smiled at me.

"Not so big and tough now, huh?" He taunted and I frowned while folding my arms.

"Try me, Mercer." I warned.

"Alright, alright. I brought my car so I will follow you." He said putting up his hands in defeat.

I smiled triumphantly and we walked out to the parking lot and Mitchell unlocked his fancy car.

"Is that a Bugatti?" I asked and he smirked.

"It is. A welcome home present. I took her for the first time today. What are you driving there baby girl?" He asked.

"A Lamborghini, she's used I don't have enough money to get a new one but my parents left it for me. It's an older model but she runs good." I said touching the hood.

"It's nice. Maybe in a few months you can get a brand new sports car." He smirked.

"So we can race?" I chuckled.

"Exactly."
