Mitchell

"Mitch?" Someone asked. I opened my eyes and looked at Isabella who stared down at me. Her blue eyes were full of concern as she scanned my face.

"God what happened?" I groaned rubbing my eyes.

"You passed out once you found out that our frog was pregnant." She said and I made a disgusted face.

"It was pretty funny, we got you up enough but you were still out. How are you feeling now?" She asked.

"Like shit. Thanks Bella, for actually doing something nice." I teased and she rolled her eyes.

"You're welcome. You're actually not too bad, Mercer. I haven't made really any new friends since I met Trevor, Carson and Damian. It's nice." She smiled.

"So we're friends now?" I asked.

"I guess. I don't hate you really. You just want to expand and I don't want you too because I want to show people I can run a large Mafia."

"You actually have a heart?" I teased.

"And you ruined it. This is why I'm not nice to people." She said standing up. She helped me up and we left the nurses office. We passed by Sonia who was holding an ice pack to her face. She glanced at Isabella and I and shook her head.

"Fuck." I whispered stepping out into the hallway.

"What's wrong? Are you not feeling well?" Isabella asked concerned.

"No it's nothing. Uh, where are my books?" I asked.

"I put them in your locker." She said simply.

"How do you know my combination?" I asked and she flashed a small silver key.

"Opens every lock in the school. Only the principal and I have one. This is why he doesn't allow locks to be brought in from outside. My family has donated a lot of money to this school. I can do anything." She shrugged.

"Do you steal from people?" I asked.

"No. I can get anything I want." She frowned.

"Are you spoiled?" I smirked and she raised an eyebrow.

"No. I can get anything I want but that doesn't mean I ask for everything I want."

"Where are you going?" I asked as she stopped at her locker.

"To the bar. I got some business to attend to. Are you okay?" She asked pulling out her backpack and her phone.

"You walking?" I asked.

"Yea." She said.

"Do you want a ride? It looks like it's going to pour." I noted.

"Are you stable enough?" She chuckled.

"I'm fine." I smiled rolling my eyes. She glanced outside and took out her headphones.

"I guess that's fine." She sighed.

"Alright let me grab my bag." I said going towards my locker. I opened it and grabbed out my keys as well and turned to see Isabella looking outside awkwardly.

"If you don't want to you don't have to." I said.

"No, it's just no one other than Trevor, Damian and Carson have offered me a ride home."

"Really? Why?" I asked.

"One boy in grade nine asked to take me home and I did and then he tried to kiss me and I broke his arm." She said.

"Are you going to break my arm?" I asked.

"Are you going to try to kiss me?" She asked.

"I don't think so." I said.

"Then we're good, Mercer." She smirked patting my shoulder.
