"Why are you stopping we have to go." Ender said gruffly, turning around and grabbing my arm.
"The bus we have to take the bus. I don't have a car." I whispered. Ender let go of my arm and pushed his hair out of his eyes.
"I have a car we can go in mine." Ender said while walking away. But he stopped abruptly and turned around a bit of anger showed in his eyes. "Hey and you you know what. Don't act so disappointed that it was me. I didn't know it was going to be you. At least I didn't show my disgust."
"Well at least I didn't make a girl have a seizure and go to the hospital on purpose because I was curious!" I spat my hands clenching into fists.
"It's only 3 minutes into our week of "marriage" and we're already trying to rip each others heads off. Can we please try not to fight this whole time." He said exasperated. I didn't even notice while we were arguing we had already made our way to his car. I remember it from high school, the red truck definitely stood out in the parking lot.
"Fine." I muttered as I stepped into his truck. He got in and started the vehicle before turning and looking at me. I folded my arms and looked out the window, signaling I didn't want to talk. Ender then turned back around and drove down the road to my new home for the next week.
About 15 minutes later we pulled up to an oldish looking apartment building. Ender and I got out and stood by the front door. There was a list of room numbers and intercoms on one side and a key swipe lock on the door. Ender took a key card out of his pocket and slid it through the lock, it clicked and the door popped open. We walked up the stairs to level two and stopped in front of the room 23.
"I guess this is our new home." Ender said, with a blank face.
"Yeah I guess it is." I said as he opened the door.
"Aren't you going to carry me through the thresh hold?" I laughed out, Ender stared me dead in the eye but I could tell in his eyes he was amused.
"I think you should carry me through the thresh hold." Ender smirked and walked inside of our new home. I went with him and surveyed the whole place. The whole house only had 4 rooms in it. The kitchen and living room where black and white themed. There was a small balcony off the living room with slight dirt and mold on the edges. The bathroom was about as small as a closet, not even a roomy closet either. All it had was a sink, toilet and small corner shower. The bedroom was alright. There was a small desk in the corner and a tv that you could watch from the bed. I plopped myself down on the bed when I realized that all my stuff was on the ground beside it. I opened my suitcase and started unpacking it all.
"Which side of the bed do you sleep on?" Ender asked. I turned around to see him leaning against the doorway with his hands in his pockets.
"I don't know pumpkin it doesn't really matter." I got up and walked toward him, a teasing edge to my voice. Ender rolled his eyes and pushed past me.
"I guess I'll take this side, be warned I do hog the sheets." Ender said sitting on the bed and fluffing the pillow.
"What are we going to do for dinner? It is almost 6:00." I asked smoothing the crinkles out of my dress.
"We could order pizza?" Ender suggested. "Although I guess you are trying to watch your weight so maybe we shouldn't have anything for dinner." I gasped slightly. Why would he say that? Is he trying to get me pissed off.
"What did you just say to me?" I asked incredulously. But Ender didn't answer, he just smirked and left the room.
