We ended up ordering in Chinese food from the place across the street. Thankfully we both like the same food and we ate it at the kitchen counter. But we actually ended up just getting into a chopstick war. I lost because Ender hit my hand.
"Hey! You cheated! We said no physical contact!" I screeched, laughing so hard my stomach hurt. We both couldn't stop laughing for a while.
"Sorry pumpkin want me to kiss it better?" Ender asked, his eyes suddenly growing darker. I nodded and he scooted closer to me, before pulling my right leg over his lap. He snatched up my hand and slowly kissed my palm, Heat sprung to my face and I instinctively wrenched my hand away.
"Are you scared of me Lyric?" Ender asked, his voice growing husky. I shook my head as he leaned in.
"Wait. We can't do this." I said while pulling away.
"Why not?" He breathed, his face just centimetres from mine. "You can't tell me to fight this when you were the one who started it."
"I did not! You didn't have to kiss me!" I whispered, bringing my hands up to his neck. "My friends think you're a bad person. They won't like this."
"Who cares what they think?" Ender shushed me with a finger to my lips.
"Okay." Was all I could say, Ender makes my mind go blank.
"Now, if you don't stop me. I'm just gonna kiss you." He brought his caramel coloured face close before grabbing me by the waist and pulling me closer. His big hands brushed against my bare stomach and I shuddered, grabbing his shirt and dragging his face to mine. He kissed me harder this time, not tentative like before. I gently tugged his hair and he grunted against my mouth. The floating feeling came back and I forgot about everything and was just focused on the feeling of Ender's mouth on mine and his hands on my skin. I tentatively snaked my hands underneath his shirt and up his torso. But then he pulled away.
"You, Lyric Lawrence are driving me crazy." He panted, his hands still around my waist and mine still up his shirt. We sat there like that breathing heavily for a moment before he talked again.
"Do you wanna head to bed?" He asked, no longer breathing hard. I blushed and nodded, untangling myself from him and into the bathroom to get ready for bed. I sat there for a while just staring at my red lips and blushing face. I was happy, for one reason or another I was happy. I changed into my regular pyjamas and flicked off the light as I exited. I ran over to the bed and crawled under the covers, shoving my head under my pillow. I barely even heard Ender come in. I couldn't help but smile underneath the pillows. Ender pulled off his shirt and in the corner of my eye I saw his muscles flex and my heart exploded. I took my head out and stared at his toned caramel body. He obviously felt me staring and stared back, a smirk forming. My face flushed again, it seems to do that a lot lately. Before I could even think the words started pouring out of my mouth.
"Can I touch you?" I asked, clapping my hand over my mouth once I realized what I had just said. I stared in blind horror at this beautiful human in front of me. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that." I said ashamed.
"It's okay. I've been told that my body is quite irresistible." Ender smiled, sliding into bed beside me. I still couldn't look him in the eyes, the shame was too much. "Seriously though, it's okay. Stop hiding your face." I grudgingly met his eyes, he was staring at me with his usual swagger gone. I leaned in and kissed him on the cheek before turning over and trying to ignore the heat of the person beside me.
