"What?! Lyric, you do realize who this is right? He's not a good person."

"I know. But I don't know man! I have no idea, I don't even know what "this" is. It could just be nothing and I'm just overreacting." I said, trying to make sense of what was happening in my head.

"You need to be sure, okay? Before you do anything rash and stupid."

"Like what? You think I'm going to kiss him?"

"I don't know, if you're actually falling for him then..."

"We only have 2 days left, including today. I doubt anything's going to happen in the next 36 hours."

"Just be careful, okay? I have to go. Exam to study for. Bye Lyric." April left me with the dial tone screaming into my brain. I drew a shaky breath and ran my hand through my hair when I heard a noise in the kitchen. I glanced up and saw Ender with no shirt on, grabbing some fruit loops off the counter.

"What're you doing outside?" Ender asked while getting the milk out of the fridge. I sighed again and stood up, smoothing out my skirt.

"Nothing, just calling a friend." I said, grabbing the fruit loops box and stuffing some into my mouth, trying to not stare at his naked chest. I was also failing horribly at that.

"You're awfully distant this afternoon. Something you want to talk about?" Ender asked, leaning against the table a few feet away from me. I shrugged and walked over to the couch.

"It's nothing. I'm fine." I said, trying to wipe my face of any emotion.

"No, you really don't seem fine. Are you still upset with what I said a few days back?" Ender asked, seemingly genuinely curious.

"I said. I'm fine, okay?!" I said, starting to get slightly annoyed with his persistence.

"Well, obviously you're not so why don't you just tell me!? Honey?" Ender said his voice raising.

"How can you not tell Ender?! You keep humiliating me!" I yelled.

"What do you mean?! Humiliating you?! I've already apologized for what I've said before!" Ender said, throwing his hands up in exasperation.

"Don't you get it?! Ender. I'm f-falling in love with you." My voice faltered at the end and I stared at him to see his reaction. Ender looked at me with his mouth somewhat hanging open.

"This is what you couldn't tell me?" Ender asked, crossing the space between us. I flinched at his closeness and stuck my hands out as if that would protect me. I nodded my head because my throat couldn't create words. He stuck his hand on my arm and put the other on my cheek.

"I-I thought you would hate me more then you already do." I finally stuttered out. He put his lips close to my ear.

"You honestly think I could hate you? Obviously you're just as stupid as I am." Ender said, cupping my cheek and pulling my head close. He pressed his lips carefully to mine and I snuck my hands around his neck. My heart exploded and heat rushed to my face, causing my mind to go blank and I felt like I was floating. I pressed my lips harder into his but he pulled away, his face still inches from mine, his green eyes staring into my blue ones.

"...Cameras..." He said pointing behind us, out of breath. I sighed and brought my hands back to my sides. He slid his hands down my arms and my sides before walking backwards and back to his fruit loops. I stood there flustered and tried to get my thoughts together. My bangs brushed against my eyebrows and I blew them away.

"D-do you think there are cameras in the bedroom?" I stuttered, my voice still threatening to falter. Ender snickered and gave me a wide smile.

"Don't worry, I don't think they watch us sleep. That would be creepy." I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. I spent one hour underneath the burning water thinking about what had just happened. Does he feel the same too? Or is he just being a jerk? Why do boys have to be so confusing. I got out of the shower and changed into sweatpants and a black crop-top, before just letting my dripping hair hang.

"You almost done in there? We should go get something to eat for dinner." Ender's voice rang through the steam that now filled the small bathroom. Wow, time flies by.

"Yeah, hold on a minute." I said, giving my hair one last squeeze before unlocking and opening the door. Ender was leaning against the doorframe, his normal swagger once again returned. I pushed past him and flopped onto the bed, pulling the pillows close.

"Do we have to go somewhere? Can we just stay here? Please?" I complained, stuffing my face into the pillow.

"Anything for you honey." Ender said, teasingly of course.
