Today was the day, the day the three girls left Portugal for good.
First destination? New York City.

It's a big adventure. I wish I could I could go on a trip like this... Spend a day in New York with my best friends and the go to LA. Where can I buy this life? Yeah, I can't, I know.

Oh, you want to know what happened to Rikki, Nat and C after they left Portugal, don't you?
I'll tell you, but first, shall we take a good look about what happened in Lisbon Airport?
There we go.
(Spoiler alert, it's not that interesting)

Everyone was there. C's mom, Nat's parents and her brother and, of course, Rikki's grandparents.

Luisa, Carolina's mom was in a bad mood. First, she didn't like the idea of her daughter going to the other side of the world and second, she didn't like the idea of Carolina going to NYC to spend a day with a rich wanna be rock star kid. It was a stupid idea.
Carolina was probably going to end up homeless, drug addict and alcoholic in the middle of LA streets.
But friends, if that happen, Luisa won't be there to help her. She refuses.
It's sad, isn't it? But that's just what she thinks. Don't tell anyone, but I hate that women. She doesn't have a heart and she doesn't really like her daughter.

Oh well

Natália's parents were happy for the girls, but also hesitant. They don't have much money to help their daughter, but they'll do everything they can.

And those two sweethearts also known as Rikki's grandparents were so happy for their granddaughter and her friends. They already promised to help the girls with the bills, rent and food 'till the girls find a good job. For them, money is not a problem and they are happy to help the three girls to make their dreams come true.
Of course that the girls saved money for the "fresh new start", but it will never be enough to survive a month.

And there they were, the three girls with two things in common: a dream and the passion for music.

It was now time to say their goodbyes. The six suitcases, C's acoustic guitar case and a cat transporter with Sheldon inside were already in the aircraft hold. Now it was just get in the plain and fly to New York.
(And yes, C brought Sheldon.)

With their goodbyes said and their hugs given, the three girls got in the plain.

It was a long flight. And also a boring one.

Nat spent almost all the flight sleeping. Rikki just read and C spent almost the eight hours flight listening to music and scratching a paper with words.

She was trying to write something for Michael. Something she got inside her for too long and she had to tell him. She already did, but this time it had to be for real, you know? All she needed was the right words. It wasn't easy, but she did it.

You're curious about what she wrote, aren't you? Well, I know what she wrote and I could tell. But not now. Let's wait a little longer.

After a eight hours flight they got out of the stupid plain.

The first thing Carolina did was messaging Michael telling they had landed. He promised he would pick them up at the airport.

Meanwhile the girls went get their bags back and those things, you know the deal.

"I feel bad for Sheldon." Nat said looking inside the cat transporter.

"He will be fine." C said without taking her eyes off the phone screen. She was still messaging Michael, the bastard couldn't find them.

"Are you sure C?" This time was Rikki who spoke.

"Yes, I am." She replied with an annoyed tone. "He probably spent all the flight sleeping."
