not a happy ending.

We're both still.

Waiting for the other to do something.

He is new.

A child really.

That means he will think less.

He's still wild.

And unknowing about most of this.

So he doesn't know.

I hear his thought to jump me.

When he does i move over then pin him down.

He growls at me.

But i am stronger than him.

"Stop."i say.

He trys to jerk away.

But i seen it coming.

He lets out another growl.

I slam his head on the ground.

This really only upsets him.

But really if he was turned.

He shouldn't be awake yet.

Well.he could but he would have just now awoke.

"Calm down!"i say.

He does not.

I slam his head on the ground again.

He hisses.

But i think he's geting dizzy.

I do it again.

He lets out another loud growl.

I do it again but much harder.

He makes a half sort of hiss.

And passes out.

I easly pick him up.

And quickly take him to my house.

I go find a chain.

And tie him to a chair.

No this won't keep him here.

But it will slow him down long enough for me to get him.

He will awake any moment.

We heal fast.

His eyes flutter open.

And again he growls at me.

"Would you stop that!"i say.

"Let me go!"

"Sorry can't do that."

I knew there was no way i could even really let him live.

"What happen too you?"i ask.

"Why would i tell you.!"

"Because i won't let you live if you don't. "

He laughs.

"I could set you on fire"i say.

He stops laughing.

Even if he didn't know,something in us said.

Keep away from fire.

It was one of few things that truly killed us.

"Why does it matter too you?"

"It doesn't either way i will kill you,so talk or don't but chose i haven't got allnight."

"I bet you're glad this happened.its probly you're doing!"

"Why would i do this?"i asked.

"So you could have Maria."

I look at him.

"I did not set this up.and i am not trying to steal her.

She was already mine.i am her father."

He looks at me wide eyed.

"Yeah.so don't think i won't kill you too keep her safe."

"Go on then kill me.i won't talk."

"you sure it can be painful or easy."

"Fine.i was going to work.it was still dark someone jumped out at me, i passed out.when i woke.i was still in the street but was hiden.that girl walked by and i jumped at her without thinking.then you showed up."

I nodd.

"Okay any thing ealse."

"Tell Maria i love her.and our kids."

"I will.and trust me I'm doing you a favor.

You don't want to live like this."

He nodds.

"Please just do it."

I feel pitty for him.

But i truly thought this would be the better way.

And he knew it.

He didn't want to be this.

"I am sorry."i say.

"I know."

"And thank you.for taking care of my baby."i say.

He nodds.

Can i really kill him?

"Please,now.i don't want to hurt anyone."he says.

I walk over to him.

He spent his life helping people i knew he would hate this.

Even more than i do.

"Goodbye."i say.

"Don't forget.tell her i love them."

"I won't. "

Those were the last words he said.
