You at age 13

You were in middle school, Cas has been with you through it all, he was there when your parents divorced, when you went to homecoming, when your dad got a girlfriend and married her.

Castiel was there when you wanted to try alcohol, you hated it.

You guys would laugh all the time, he made you happy, he was all you need and all you had. You didn't have a lot of friends you had a couple of close ones but Cas was your best friend.

Every time you hurt yourself he would kiss it and it would go away. You called him your personal doctor.

You guys were running around outside when you tripped and broke your elbow.

"Ow.. Owy owy owy" you yell while prancing around with your elbow I'm your hand.

"Fuck fuckity fuck!!" You scream.

"(Y/n)! Language" Cas scolds you.

"I know I know, but- oh god! It hurts Mc Dreamy, real bad!!"

"I know, I'm coming to heal you, and whose Mc Dreamy?"

"Dr. Shepard from Grey's Anatomy" you say while tears stream down your eyes, he kneels down and kisses your elbow, then all the pain is gone.

You look up and stare into his piercing blue eyes, he stares back into your (e/c) eyes.

He grabs your cheek and brings you close so your foreheads are touching.

You were watching Grey's Anatomy in your room, you hear the sound of wings.

"Oh Cassy just in time, Grey's just came on" you say patting the bed next to you.

"(Y/n)" Castiel croaks.

You turn to see tears welling up in his eyes, he's never cried in front of you, the only time he cried was during brother bear, and he ran to the bathroom before you saw.

"Castiel, what's wrong" you ask while getting up from the bed and walking over to him.

"Can we go outside" he asks while looking through the window.

"Yeah okay"

You guys walk outside and he turns towards you, a tear falls down his face. He falls to his knees and starts sobbing.

"Cas!" You yell running towards him and hugging him while rubbing his back the way he does to you.

He looks at you, "(y/n) I have to leave, and I don't know if I'll be back" he says while tears stream down his face.

You back up, "wh-what" you say trying to hold back tears. "No, no Cassy you can't leave, Please" you say while weeping.

"I'm so sorry, I don't want to leave believe me" he says grabbing your face and pulling you towards his chest, you sob into his trench coat.

"C-c-Castiel" you try to say "you can't leave, your all I have.. What would I do without you, I have no one!" You scream while hot tears stream down your face.

"Bumble bee, if I could stay I would... I love you so much you know it, your my world and more-" he pauses and try's to collect himself, "(y/n) don't forget me please, I'll come back I swear" he says while tears start forming again.

You hug him tightly around his neck, he hugs you back just as tight. You pull away to look in his eyes.

"I love you so much" he says holding your face.

You nod "I love you too" you say.

He gets up, and you get up he kisses your forehead roughly, "I love you more" he says holding your hand, he lets go, and then he's gone.

"Cas" you whisper, you fall you your knees and weep.

It's been a year since Castiel left, you would pray to him but he would never come, eventually you stopped praying.

And stopped crying about him.

You took down the pictures of him, you started believing he was just your imagination.

You stopped believing he was real.

After more years have gone by you completely forgot about him, he was nothing to you.

You "graduated" middle school without him and started high school without him.

You got your first boyfriend without him.

And dealt with the pain of you breaking up with your boyfriend without him.

You eventually graduated high school and went into the medical field, and became a physicians assistant at an early age 21 to be exact. (I know that's not true but let's just pretend it is) You bought your own house and car. You were good, you would call your parents every week, life was good.

You weren't really dating anyone ever, you tried it just never worked out. It's like you had a hole in your heart and no one can fill it, you were missing someone, but you didn't know who. So you just stopped wasting your time trying to date, it never worked out anyways.

Life was good, except feeling as if you were empty inside, like you were missing someone.
