Castiel x Reader

Part 11

You wake up to an empty bed.

"Cas!" You yell.

No answer.

You walk into the living room, he's not there either.

He's not in the kitchen.

Or bathrooms.

Or anywhere.

"Cassy? Where are you?" You yell.

You hear the flap of wings.

"Cas?" You say turning around.

"Y/n, I have to leave for a while" he says.

"No" you say backing up from him. "No, not this again"

Tears start welling in your eyes, you shake your head back and forth.

He walks up to you and wraps his arms around you.

"You can't stay here" he says pulling you away from his embrace.

"What, I don't understand" you say.

"I have to leave for a while because someone is hunting me, they know I've been here and they know about you, and it's not safe for you... I have a couple friends your going to be staying with, they'll keep you safe while I'm gone.. I promise I'm not gonna be gone for that long"

Your shocked, you have no clue what to say.

You know that Cas is trying to protect you.

"What about my job?" You ask.

"You'll have to leave until we're both safe"

"Well how long will that be?"

"I don't know, I'm sorry I know this is a lot to take in. I'm so sorry."

"I know I know you are, it's okay, I'll go pack" you say.

You walk away from him and into your room, you start packing everything you need, you pack your entire closet.

When you finish packing you collapse on the bed and start weeping.

Your gonna lose Cas all over again, and you have to leave everything, your house, your job, your friends, everything.

Cas walks in.

You sit up and wipe your tears, "uh, I'm all packed I just need to turn off the air conditioning and unplug everything, and I can call the hospital and tell them I quit" you start crying all over again.

Cas runs up to you and pulls you into his chest, "I am so sorry, y/n.."

You breathe in deeply and sigh, "it's fine Cas.. Just lets go already" you say.

Cas stares at you, he knows how much pain your in right now, your leaving everything behind for him, because of him, and he's leaving which makes it ten times worse.

"Okay" he says, pressing two fingers against your forehead.

You look around, the place is beautiful, and big.

"Where are we?" You ask Cas.

"We're at the bunker"

"Huh" you say looking around.

Two men come around the corner, ones extremely tall and the other one is slightly shorter.

The tall dude has long brown hair that goes down to his jaw, and the short one has light brown hair and apple green eyes.

"So this is y/n" The short one says walking up to you.

Cas nods, "yes it is"

"Well you are beautiful" the short one says grabbing your hand and kissing it seductively.

You blush a deep red and pull your hand away.

"Dude seriously?" The tall one asks the shorter one.

"What?" The short one asks.

You look over to Cas, his face is full of fury, you step in front of him and place your hands on his chest.

"Cas, it's okay" you say.

He looks at you and his expression softens.

"I don't trust him"

"I'll be fine, I swear"

You turn towards the men, "right?" You ask.

"Yes of course, I'm Sam by the way and that's Dean" Sam says.

You nod and turn towards Cas again, "when do you have to leave?"

"Now actually" he says, tears start forming in both your eyes.

You wrap your arms around his neck, he snakes around your waist and holds you tight.

"Please be safe Cassy" you say, hot tears streaming your face.

"I will.. I love you y/n" he says pulling away so he can face you.

"I love you too Cas" you grab his face and kiss him roughly.

He kisses you back, you both pull away.

"Bye Sam and Dean, take good care of her, promise?" Cas says.

"Promise" they both say in unison.

Cas walks up to them and hugs them both at the same time.

He turns to face you, "I'll see you soon y/n"

"Yeah" you croak.

He roughly kisses you on the forehead.

"I love you" he says into your hair, then he pulls away.

"I love you too"

And then he's gone.

You collapse onto the ground and start weeping.

Sam and Dean rush to your sides and rub your back and tell you everything is okay.. But it's not.

"Is alright y/n.. He'll be back" Dean says trying to comfort you.

"L-last t-time he s-said that he left for.....  Eight years!" You stutter.

"I know, I know it's hard.. He has angel stuff he has to attend to, and obviously it's important" Sam says pulling you away from Dean and into his long arms.

You sob into his chest for awhile.

After you kinda stopped sobbing, you started to fall asleep in Sam's arms, Sam picked you up and took you to your room, Dean following closely behind you with your stuff.

Sam lightly set you on the bed, and Dean put your bags into the corner of the room.

"Thanks you guys" you mumble.

"For what?" Sam asks.

"Everything" you say.

"Well, your welcome" Dean says.

You hear the door close, then you start crying again.

Eventually you cry yourself to sleep.
