It wasn't enough that when we arrived at the castle whispers in the hallway went back and forth about the girl. The girl they've waited for has arrived to pull the beast out of his spell, but she also carried someone behind. Someone not expected. Who was she? Well, she was very annoyed at the voices and wished they would just shut up because it brought her guard down. No, now the voices had faces and they were none other than the furniture that occupied this residence.

They soon became more than just a nuisance as frequent visits were made to the room we were kept, to try and convince Belle that the beast wasn't so bad. Also for Cogsworth to give me a glare and complain about my presence. I found out later we were only in a room rather the tower because of some kind words from Lumiere. I silently thanked him every time it rained because I'm sure we would've died in that tower.

Even though we were not confined to just this room, we were told that we were allowed to go anywhere we liked, we stayed there for hours on end. I just saw no reason to leave and Belle preferred crying over talking. I was staring at the ceiling from the floor when a knock was heard. When it opened it revealed the teapot from earlier. I just sighed because now I had to have a conversation but Belle decided to freak out.

"I figured you would like a cup of tea," she chirped while hopping in. I sat up and glared because one piece of furniture in here meant Cogsworth was close behind. I didn't want to deal with this rivalry right now. Belle stepped away as the pot got closer before bumping into a dresser.

"You-you. This isn't right." She touched the dresser with a hand and it seemed to come to life.

"Oh, what you before was so brave," it cooed. Belle jumped back and sat on the bed. I merely watched from the sidelines as the scene unfolded. The teapot poured some tea into a cup and sent it over to Belle. She reluctantly picked it up and took a sip.

"I wouldn't say it was," I chimed in. "She lost her father and now we're doomed to live here until we die." Belle flinched at my comment but nodded her head in agreement. The atmosphere seemed to darken and I only slightly regretted what I had said.

"Oh deary, look at me here when there is dinner that needs to be put on the table!" the teapot exclaimed before calling over the cup and leaving. When the door closed to dresser perked up and got excited.

"Oh what will you wear!" she danced over and opened her doors. Flipping through she pulled out two dresses and threw them at us. Belle's was a nice shade of pink that I'm sure would complement her body well and mine was a gross green color. I stuck out my tongue at the garment and threw it back.

"No way. I'm not wearing a dress and I'm not going to dinner," I stated. The dresser looked shocked and Belle took hers eyes off the dress to look at me. She looked between me and the dress as if making her decision.

"I'm not either," she agreed and gave the dress back. The dresser stood in shock.

"But, but you must!" she demanded. I shook my head and sat down on the bed. As if on cue the door cracked open and I didn't even have to guess who would walk through it. Cogsworth scrambled in and stood upright, clearing his throat in a professional manner.

"Dinner is served," he bowed and pointed towards the door. I stared at him with a blank face and when Belle didn't move to follow, he gulped.

I wasn't surprised when minutes later loud footsteps and snarling came from downstairs. Beast was clearly upset and wanted Belle down there. He pounded on the door and started yelling.

"I thought I told you to be down there!" he growled. Belle put on her most determined face and walked towards the door.

"I'm not hungry!" she shouted back as loudly as she could.
