"What? What is it?" Belle asked concerned.
"It's just, now you have to put up with me as a beast forever," Beast informed. Disappointment filled everyone as we took a minute to stand silent in the rain. Belle grasped Beast tightly and they embraced.
"That's fine, I love you all the same," she whispered into his chest. A beam of light shot to the ground before us. It happened so quickly that we looked at each other thinking that we imagined it. Soon more colorful shooting stars arrived though, and the Beast was separated from Belle. He rose into the sky and light shone from him. He was transformed from his beastly body to a human in a matter of minutes. When he lowered to the ground and looked up at us, Alyssa and I exchanged a look of confusion.
"Adam?" we questioned at the same time. He looked just like the boyfriend my friend Bella, if his long, shaggy hair was anything to go by. He didn't respond to us, and instead went for Belle to hug again.
"Belle, it's me," he whispered to her. She reached up and touched his face.
"I know." Instantly the castle was encased in a gold wave, turning it from its dark exterior to a new fairytale building. Each piece of furniture was in turn back to their old human form, revealing a reunion of each other. Everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves, so Ryan and I joined.
"Not so fast," a voice called from the crowd, and clapped its hands. Instantly everything froze. I looked around for a source of why this was happening. A plump man walked his way through the crowd to us and glared.
"Cogsworth?" I asked incredulously. "What are you going to do? Your plan didn't work, give it up." I went up to him and got in his face. I was tired of him showing up at the most inconvenient times. He simply kept an unimpressed face and waltzed over to Belle. His hands snaked around her neck and easily slipped the locket off. My mind went blank as I remembered. Again I lost track of my target and let myself get swept up in the story. Ryan noticed and ran over to Cogsworth to steal the locket. He was quite unsuccessful in this as Cogsworth expertly avoided him.
"I don't think so. This is going straight to the Queen herself," He informed. He headed to the balcony railing and pulled out the mirror to call the Queen. He held it out flat with the necklace dangling above it, I realized that the mirror could apparently also operate as a portal as well. Just as the mirror was ringing I stopped thinking and dove for it. I only succeeded in grabbing the mirror and ran into the beast's room. I held the mirror up and faced Cogsworth. He stared me down and I could tell he was forming a plan. His eyes darted around the room and he landed on something that must've been interesting.
"Mirror, show me the portal," he smugly commanded. The mirror began to shake and then flew, dragging me with it, towards the painting of Beast in his human form. It went through the painting and took my hand with it. It felt like my hand was on fire so I ripped it back out of the painting. I looked at Ryan worried, and he nodded.
"Hey, Cogsworth," he shouted from behind him. Cogsworth turned around and I got up to run towards him. I took the back of the mirror and rammed it against the back of his head causing him to bend over in pain. Ryan went to snatch it, but Cogsworth avoided his advances again before holding it up and shouting.
"Mirror, take to the Queen!" The locket was then magnetized to to mirror and headed for the painting again, taking me with it. It flew through the painting and tried desperately to drag me with. I was close to letting go, but I wasn't about to let it get away again.
"Ryan, follow." I demanded as well. I let myself be pulled through the painting and into a new world.
