EMMAS POV
"My house is just down the road, so we can just walk." Mark said. "Look. Mark. I'm not sure about this. Maybe another time." I told him, walking away. "Emma! Wait!" Mark called. I ignored him and carried on walking home.
MARKS POV
Emma just walked away. I really wanted to get to know her. She seems really cu-...I mean, cool. "Are you going to go after her?" Jacob asked. "Why should I?" I asked, trying to act cool and pretending to brush it off. "Come on, dude. You're clearly drooling over her!" Jacob exclaimed. "What?! No...I'm not. You are!" I replied. "What?! No, I'm not!" Jacob answered. "Just call her, dude!" Jacob demanded. I got out my phone and called Emma.
EMMAS POV
I went back home because I wasn't sure about this. Mark and Jacob seem really nice, but I'm just not sure about going to his house when I've only JUST met him. It doesn't feel...right.
RING RING RING!
It was Mark.
Me: Hello?
Mark: Hi, Emma. It's me, Mark.
Me: Hi. What's up?
Mark: Uhh...I-I just wanted to ask...umm. Why d-did you go home?
Me: Because...I don't know. It just didn't feel right going to your house, when I've only just met you.
Mark: Look. You don't have to. Just say and we'll go somewhere else!
Me: Mark. Maybe another time, yeah? I just need to get more confident with you and Jacob, was it?
Mark: Okay...call me when you're more confident, Emma.
Me: Okay. See you, Mark.
Mark: Bye...
I felt like I made Mark a little sad. I think he really wanted to hang out with me. But I just don't really think it's...I don't really find it comfortable, hanging around with someone I don't even know that much. If I type his name into Instagram or something, it might make me get to know him better.
I went onto Instagram and typed in: Mark Thomas. It came up with tons of suggestions. I clicked the first one, duhitzmark. The profile picture looked exactly like him and he had...what the hell?! He had 1.3M followers! He must be famous or something! I can't believe he's famous! I went onto YouTube and typed in his name. It came up with him channel. I watched his videos and they were really funny. He seems like a pretty chill and funny guy. I wondered if he was on musically, so I searched him up. He was and he had 2.24M followers on there! I couldn't believe my eyes. I just met a famous person....
