EMMAS POV
Me and Harriet finished up in Starbucks and we were now at my house. We were upstairs in my bedroom and Harriet reminded, "What you gonna do about that kid's number?" "Oh yeah. Where did I put it?" I asked myself, looking in my pockets. Then I found it in my back pocket. "I'll text him." I answered and got out my phone. I typed in the number in messages and wrote:
Hi. It's me from Starbucks☺️
"You texted him yet?" Harriet asked. "I've just sent it. I put, Hi. It's me from Starbucks and a smiling emoji." I explained. "Okay. What was his name again?" She asked. "I think it was something like Mark or Mike." I replied. "He's fit." Harriet stated. "Harriet's got a crush!" I exclaimed. "Shut up! You fancy him, don't you?" Harriet asked. "A bit..." I said. "When you say a bit, you mean, a lot. Don't you?" Harriet said, giggling. "Look. He's cute. That's all I'm saying." I giggled. "Aright, alright. I have to go. I'm going to this family reunion thing." Harriet told me. "Okay. I'll show you out." I said, going downstairs with Harriet. "Right. I'll text you what he says." I told Harriet. "You better do. I'll see you later." Harriet demanded and smiled. I smiled and said bye. Harriet left and I went back upstairs. "Emma?!" I heard Brad yell from his room. "What?" I shouted back. "Come here!" He commanded. "Ugh." I groaned and went to his room. "What?" I asked, standing at the door way. "Do you know Mark?" Brad asked. "Mark who?" I asked. "Mark Thomas." Brad replied. "No clue who he is. I met a boy called Mark at Starbucks though. Don't know what his surname is, though." I said. "That's him. Okay, it's alright now. You can leave." Brad shooed me away. I went back to my room and saw I had a message from Mark.
Hey😏im bored. How r u?? Xxxx
I replied:
Same😐
Mark: Wanna meet up??🙃 xxxx
Me: I'm not sure...I only just met u😶😬
Mark: You can trust me. Go onto utube and type in Mark Thomas. Xxxxx
Me: Is that u?? Are u Mark Thomas??😮
Mark: Yeah. I'm Mark Thomas☺️what's ur name, babe?? Xxx
Me: Emma Carore🙂hate it🙄
Mark: i think it's an amazing name for an amazing girl😍
