MARKS POV
So I just told Emma I liked her. I really want her to like me back because I really like her. I just...ugh. "Mark...we only just met, like a few days ago." Emma said. "I know...but I just like you. I don't know why. I know you hate me now but-" I replied but then she stated, "No, Mark. Of course I don't hate you...maybe I will start to like you in a while but we only just met. I don't know...it's all going so fast if I date you now." She doesn't like me..."Oh...okay..." I said, sadly. "Oh Mark...I'm sorry. I'll eventually like you...does that make you feel any better? You're my friend. Best friend, if you wanna be. But not boyfriend just yet...I'm sorry, Mark." Emma explained. "I-it's fine..." I said, sadly. Then Jacob walked in. "So...how'd it go, Mark?" He asked. Then he noticed Mark looking really sad. "Oh...did it not turn out well?" Jacob asked. Mark shook his head and left the room, still looking very sad. "Emma." Jacob said. "What?" I asked, looking at him. "C'mon. Just give him a chance. See what it's like to date a boy like him, if you don't like it then split. If you do then don't. It's simple. Just give him a chance. You can obviously tell he's upset about it all..." Jacob said, trying to talk some sense into me. "Jacob, I know what I wanna do. I don't want to date him yet..." I said. "Why? What's the reason?" He asked. "There isn't a reason...I just don't like him in that way..." I said.
