"Omg! that was a great movie" I said and laughed my head rested on his shoulders, his arms wrapped around my waist
"Yea it was cool" he said
"The minions were so cute! in yellow!"
"Not as cute as you" he winked
"Stop with the sarcasm" I slapped his arm
"You never take compliments do you?"
"That's just who I am" I answered back
We stares into our eyes, two minutes must have passed. I have never noticed how green they were.
He leaned forwards just as I did. when I realised what was about to happen I spoke
"I have to call someone" I backed away
"Sure the phones in the kitchen" he backed up too, clearly embarrassed as he just realised what he was about to do
"Thanks" I said and skipped down the hall, the stairs and into the kitchen
I first picked my phone to make sure it didn't have battery's anymore. just as I thought it was dead.
I picked the house phone and dialed the familiar number
After 3 rings the person on the other line picked up
"Hello?" a familiar female voice said through the phone
"Hey, it's Ashley" I smiled to myself happy to hear that voice again I missed so much
"How are you dear?" My mum said
"I'm fine, everything's great, how about you?"
"Everything is going perfect over here-" she started talking about everything at work and stuff I just replied with some "hmm" or "yes" or " wow that's great"
"How's dad?" I finally said
"He's doing great, do you want to talk to him?" she said
"If he's available" I noticed Harry walking down
"Who is it?" he mouthed
"My parents" I mouthed back
"How's my little girl???!!" I heard my dad speak on the other end of the line
"Hey dad!!" I missed them so much
"We will soon come home honey don't worry" he said and I felt like I was going to cry
I heard someone whisper to my parents and I could picture them nodding
"Ashley? We have to get back to work now" my mum said
"Sure" I mumbled "bye I love you" I said
"Love you too honey" they both said and hung up
"A cupcake?" Harry grinned
"Of course" I said and we both ran upstairs. I love that he can stop me from crying and make me laugh. That's why he's my best friend!
"So, Anything new?" he said
"Yes" I blushed furiously
"Ohhh tell me!" he pretended to have a girl squeaky voice
"Well.." I began "I'm not single anymore!!" I smiled
"What?" his face dropped
"Max asked me to be his girlfriend" I said
"Oh. I'm so happy for you" he leaned in for a hug and I gladly hugged him back
"It was so romantic how he asked me out" I started telling him from Friday night when we had the sleepover ( harry and i) until he brought me to the cabin, up to now
The doorbell rang
I think I heard Harry mutter "could've done better than that" but it wasn't clear enough so it could've been something else. I just ignored it
"I'll go see" I offered. he nodded and I was down at the door.
"Yes?" I said while opening the door
"Pizza" the pizza delivery girl said
She was around our age. I never saw a girl doing this..
"Harry did you order pizza?" I called out
"Euh.. yes! oh yes I forgot bout it!" he said and I heard footsteps walking down
"Yep that's for us" I said and took the pizza. Harry immediately took them from me as he must have seen how I struggled to carry them.
"Thank you" I said
"Welcome" he sent me a warm smile
I turned aroun to see the girl still at the door
"Oh right! I have to pay you" I reached down for my pocket when someone pushed me aside
"Harry! I can pay for that" I said
"Nope I will" he insisted
"No I will" I tried pushing him away but he just won't budge!
"To late" he said
"Next time I'll pay" I whined
"Whatever" he grinned and walked to the kitchen to grab the pizzas
As I was about to close the door the girl talked
"You guys are so cute together" she said
"Oh we aren-"
"The way you two looked at each other and fought who would pay was just adorable"
"Harry and I aren't what you think we are" I said
"But you two. the way you looked at each other, and fought, and you both look... in love" she said
"I have a boyfriend" I said firmly
"Just saying my opinion" she said "you guys would make the cutest couple" she said
"Thank you. bye" I don't want to be mean but she's only supposed to deliver the pizza not gossip
"Ash? are you coming?" I heard Harry's voice yell from upstairs
"Yes" I said
"Bye" she said
"Bye" I smiled and closed the door
