Chapter 6: The Kiss

Max's POV

Ashley is coming to my house tonight to rehearse!

I really like Ashley and I think I'm falling in love with her..

The doorbell rings and I ran down expecting Ashley but no such luck.. Lauren was there

My smile disappeared instantly

"Why are you here?" I was mad. Angry what is she doing here trying to get me back no way ! Though I still think she's hot

"I just wanted to say that I heard rumors you punching Harry ... for me..?"

"What the hell? Who is Harry and why would I hit him?!"

"Well let's just say Harry is Ashley's BFF and everyone knows you can't get over me the beautiful Lauren and you got jealous because I stayed with harry" she smiled

"Lauren I know you! this isn't a rumor you just invented that.."

She sighed

"It was worth a try"

"What do you mean?"

"Well I still have feelings for you max and I'm using Harry to get over you he just doesn't know that yet"

"Lauren please go away and leave Harry alone he has nothing to do with this" I started closing the door

She pushed it open. Jumped in my arms and kissed me. It was a rough kiss but I missed it.

"Max I'm - what? Oh sorry for disturbing ". Oh shit I looked at Ashley who was walking away

"No no no! This is wrong Ashley come back here I didn't!" I ran after her

"Lauren I hate you for this" I shouted

Lauren's POV

This was just perfect Ashley witnessing this was great!

Making her jealous just made me feel good inside I walked home and my phone rang

Without looking at the ID I answered

"Hello?"

"Hey Lauren it's harry"

"Oh hey" oh no not him

"I wanted to ask if we could hang out"

"I'll see when I'm free but right now I can't bye"

"Oh yea sure okay bye"

I have to talk to him and tell him an excuse instead of telling him he was part of my plan...

Ashley's POV

I just witnessed on max and Lauren kissing.. I thought Max had feeling for me... This is just so confusing

I just ran and ran till I don't know where

After a few minutes someone was behind me and breathing heavily

"Ashley *breath* I didn't *breath* kiss lauren * breath* she kissed me *breath*"

I haven't even realized I was crying I was hurt. It was raining I hope max didn't notice... He probably did I have red puffy eyes.. Great! And my make up is all over my face

"Ashley" max walked over to me

He placed his hand on my cheek and looked at me in the eye

"I love you" he kissed me it was a passionate kiss

"I love you too" I mumbled through the kiss

Max's POV

What did I just do I told her I love her! I do love her but I missed Lauren and her kisses.

I think I'm gonna go with Ashley

She's beautiful nice gorgeous pretty friendly well everything

"Lets go home" I told her

She just smiled and I put my arm around her

We walked in the rain and I gave her my sweater otherwise she would get a cold

"What about you?" She asked

"I'm fine don't worry" I replied giving a kiss on her cheek

"Thanks" she smiled

Finally arrived home

I ran upstairs and got some clothes for Ashley

I got her some black sweats and a white v neck and ran back to her

She took it and went to the bathroom I got dressed and she came out

She had braided her hair to the side it wasn't something fancy but she looked great!

"So the music project" she said after seeing me checking her out

"Oh yeah it's tomorrow.."

"Lets get going" she fist pumped into the air I laughed at how childish she was sometimes but it was cute

I took my guitar and started strolling the chords

She started

"Oh I just wanna take you anywhere that you'd like,

My solo now

After the song she kissed me

"Well I better get going"

"Wait Ashley I wanted to ask you something.." She nodded

"Will you go to prom with me?" I was unsure if I made the right decision

Ashley's POV

We finished singing. That was great I kissed max

"Well I better get going" I smiled

"Wait Ashley I need to ask you something.." I nodded indicating him to continue

"Will you go to prom with me?" Those words kept ringing in my head

I've always wanted to go with him! I never thought it would happen though! Wow just wow!

"Of course max!" I hugged him and pecked his lips one more time before skipping away
