A/N: So, since this is Erza freaking Scarlet x Reader I have to warn you, this might start getting into the rated M category. Not full on smut or lemon or anything, but enough to warrant a warning. (Might, not sure until I start writing this) I'll get working on it. Also, I have a few things to tell y'all so the A/N at the end of this will be important regardless of if you read the one-shot or not. Hints of Gruiva, Miraxus, NaLu, Bicksanna (I think they spell it with an x though), and more.

The guildhall was bustling with the usual crowd making a ruckus. The only person sitting at the counter where Mirajane worked was a young female wizard who had recently told your guild about your sexual preferences. No one batted any eye, which made you feel a lot more comfortable about it, though Loke had definitely sulked in the corner about the loss of one of his lovely ladies. You had only been able to laugh a bit and comfort him by promising to send the ladies that didn't catch your eye his way.

He'd sulked more.

It wasn't like it mattered anyways, since only one female in particular really caught your eye. And no, it wasn't the lovely covergirl Mirajane. You really didn't want to even try to fight Laxus for the petite white-haired beauty, though you did openly tell her she looked beautiful. When you did that, Laxus seemed to be glaring lightning bolts at you, but you had only laughed and shook your head. She wasn't your type. She was too passive-aggressive for you to really like her as anything more than a pretty girl.

No.

The girl you had your eye on was definitely not one that was easy to acquire, and you didn't even think trying would do you any good. So, kind of like Loke, you were sulking at the bar. Mira walked over to you, setting a glass of fruit flavored soda in front of you - your favorite kind as always. "Good morning, (Y/n)..." Mira chirped, a plotting kind of look in her eyes.

You eyed her warily for a moment, glancing at the soda before taking a hesitant sip and then relaxing. "Hey Mira." You responded, more relaxed knowing she hadn't done anything to the drink to make you start saying things you weren't suppose to say - she'd done that once. It'd been the way she got you to admit your own sexuality in front of the guild and you didn't put it past her to do it again. She had that kind of look in her eyes that made you nervous.

"So, a little birdy told me you have a crush on someone in the guild." She said, trying to act casual while cleaning the counter next to where you were seated. Her blue eyes were twinkling, as if she were already planning on how she'd get you with the unnamed person.

"Maybe your little birdy needs to be put down then." You mumbled, knowing the only person whom you'd told you had a crush on someone in the guild had been her little sister, Lisanna. It seemed that you had forgotten for a moment that the younger Strauss sibling liked to play match-maker as well - especially since Natsu had spent all of his time not on a mission hanging out with Lucy. You felt bad for the girl, who so clearly was in love with Natsu. You'd known it before Lucy joined the guild, and you had been one of the many who had thought they'd get together.

After Lucy joined though, you had a change of heart like everyone else. It was so clear, the difference between Natsu's relationship with Lucy and the one everyone thought he would have with Lisanna. While the Strauss sibling and the fire-breather had been friends, you didn't think it could match the overprotective nature Natsu had with Lucy. It was clear to you that even though Lucy had way less years with Natsu than Lisanna did - or any other female in the guild for that matter - she was the one he'd die protecting. The Grand Magic Games had made you see that. Before then, you had still secretly hoped that Natsu would rekindle the dwindling fire of his relationship with Lisanna. Afterall, the girl was head over heels for him.

Though she seemed to have sort of moved on, her crush on Bickslow was something you learned of recently - the whole reason she had gotten you to tell her that you did indeed have a crush on one of the female wizards in the guild had been why she admitted her own sparking feelings for the mage with his mark on his tongue. You were happy for her. She could finally move on from the pain of not being the one in Natsu's heart. You wished you could do the same for your own crush.
