I don't own The Flash or its characters, only my OC and the plot

Once we got to Jitters, which was quite fast, I have to admit, Barry got us a table and we both sat down, each in front of the other, so that we could see each other face to face. Before, however, Barry bought us some drinks. I would've payed for mine, but my wallet was, apparently, nowhere to be found, and he kindly accepted to pay for it. Still, I made sure to make a mental note to pay him when I got my hands on some cash.

Once we sat down with our beverages, Barry, again, changed his demeanor to a more serious one and, after taking a sip of his drink, placing it in the table and crossing his arms above it, he looked straight and me and started talking

"Now, I need you to explain me how you know about my secret. Oh, and, what do you mean by other dimension?" He started, now inching a bit closer to me, while I just pressed myself against my seat in an attempt to put some of the space he had stolen in between us. I mean, I completely understood his predicament: a stranger you help, and sure as hell has never seen before, tells you the one thing you are trying to keep as a secret? Yeah, not good.

"It's kind of complicated, but I guess that's not what you want to hear, is it?" A quick glance and I confirmed my thoughts with a little head shake from him. Taking that as a sign, I continued, "So... where I come from, all of this," I said while gesturing around, "is just a TV show that I happen to enjoy. A lot, if I'm being honest." He opened his stance, leaning back into the chair rest. That action alone gave me the tranquility I needed, and kind of got rid of some of my nerves. "If I'm not mistaken, it's currently 2014, right?" He nodded. "Oh, okay then. Back in my dimension, it was 2016, and your show currently had two seasons, with plans to premier the third one on October of the same year."

The only confirmation that he was listening, if I could count it as one, was the fact that he was nodding, seemingly following along the story. While I continued to explain how my belongings were gone, and how I probably didn't have anywhere to live, considering the situation, Barry's mind seemed to be in constant move, thinking a million things at once. It was that much so, that I had to pause several times to make sure he was still listening (which he was, it goes without saying).

After I finished explaining the situation, he sat up a bit straight, then resumed his initial position, chuckling a bit. Dumbfounded, I was about to ask what was it that he found funny, when he interrupted me to it.

"You are telling me you know exactly what happens and almost when?" Now he was looking at me. I nodded quickly. "That's pretty great, if you ask me," he leaned back, again. "Sorry if I seem interested, but you really could be a great help for us here."

"You are not mad?" I said as I tilted my hear to the side a bit.

"Not at all. I mean, I still not fully trust you, but we can work about that later."

I was a bit astonished; how come he was being so understanding of me? I didn't completely get it, but I supposed it wouldn't hurt to go along with it. After all, what was I to lose? However, there was a thing that I would not let, no matter the situation, and it had just downed on me.

Raising both my hands in a stopping motion, I spoke up, "Whoa, big boy," he raised an eyebrow, "Wait a second. I have seen far too many movies to know what could happen if I so as dare to change something in favor of someone. I'm sorry, and as much as I wanted to, I am not willing to make a mistake that could put you guys' world at risk. Not in a million years."

"So, is that a no?" Did he... was he disappointed? Realizing what my words had meant, an embarrassment blush spread through my cheeks as I rapidly failed my hands around to show that I was intending to help. Why wouldn't I be?
