*Hayden's POV*

"I have practice so I'll see you later, okay?" Aaron tells me, a little urgently.

"Okay." I say, meeting his lips halfway.

"Bye." He flashes a smile.

"See you."

I start to head towards the exit and Tyler walks in.

He looks... Better. Ish.

"Hi." I say hesitantly.

"Hey." He grunts.

Okay then.

Before leaving, I look back to see Tyler staring at Aaron.

"What?" Aaron asks.

As if he hasn't said anything, Tyler keeps staring.

"You..... Never mind." He says before walking ahead.

Weird.

I get to my car and start to drive home, trying not to think about what I just saw.

I try, but fail.

*Aaron's POV*

Tyler keep staring at me, and I'm starting to get freaked out.

What if he remembers what happened?

He was drunk, which I didn't even know Tyler was capable of getting.

Seth is a usual customer and when he mentioned he snagged a newbie, I figured I'd make a couple extra bucks.

I didn't expect it to be Tyler.

If he starts to remember, I'm screwed.

He's not gunna hesitate to tell Hayden, and there goes my relationship.

If she finds out, she's not gunna wait for an explanation.

She isn't gunna care. All she'll think about is how I'm a criminal and that I'm no good for her.

I know that already. I'm surprised she's still with me.

I'm basically dead weight for her to hail around.

I've never met anyone who was willing to care for me like that, and it scares me sometimes.

Sometimes, I think she's good for me.

Other times, I feel like she makes me weak.

She makes me weak.

Because she makes me good.

Is it worth it to me?

I don't know.

But I think I'm leaning more towards yes since I wouldn't be able to bring myself to leave her.
