It was a chilly but beautiful evening.
The setting sun made the sky glow such a vibrant orange as light pink clouds outlined it.
Nobody else seemed to care that this beauty lay right in front of them.
Everyone she passed kept their head down or was in deep conversation with someone else.
That was fine, though. No one would see her gaze up in awe at the stars that painted the sky.
No one would see the single tear rolling down her cheek at the desire to grow wings, fly away, and disappear forever.
