The amount of reads, comments and votes on this is absurd. I can't believe it. Truthfully, the amount of love I still receive is crazy. I'm truly thankful, I could never say 'thank you' enough. When I started this I was going out on a limb because I had read (the first 'monster mate' book I'd ever read) 'To Love A Monster' by ImBritney [she's sadly MIA, don't read it. You'll die bc of how she left it. It's really darn good!! Update: she's back, you can read it.] And I was utterly inspired.

Thankfully this didn't turn out like TLAM but I wanted to pay homage because, without it I probably never would have read a werewolf book nor written this. It was also the first 'monster mate' story I had read on Watty, so I'm sure you can tell the impact it made. Bc those are the only ones I seem to want these days. 😂 Anyway, thank you to Britney and thank you to all of you. ❤

Q&A

(These haven't been asked but if you have any, ask them here, I'll answer. With these just read the Q's to see if anything you were irritated with or didn't understand is answered.)

Q: Why was Elijah comatose for so long?

A: I didn't want her to mate with a twenty-five year old at the age of nineteen. I didn't want her to mate at all at nineteen. I don't condone that, so, I didn't want it in my book. - Also, before I decided on the year I wanted her to be comatose over kidnapped because that's so overrated now, flip. Initially when I was planning the book she was going to wake up and leave for three years after rejecting Alex. 😂

Q: How come Nathaniel knew Alexander was technically a Creature but didn't know that was what took over when the 'switch flipped?'

A: Nathaniel is naturally a Creature, he doesn't have that problem. His ex Creature buddies in No Man's Land didn't have it either. He didn't know such side effects took place. He's not as witchy as his mom so he doesn't know. Natalia has experienced it all (not always personally), so she knows. Also, Alex didn't tell him.

Q: How was Elijah 'hanging on' because of her mate?

A: She wasn't. That was what her father thought. The truth is explained in chapter thirty-four when Mariska apologises for keeping her comatose for two years. The spell she did was wrong in terms of time. She did not intend on killing Eli and that is why she didn't die.

Q: Why did she run after The Discovery?

A: She thought her Pack would hate her. Her mate came in one day and ruined their homes and killed their family members. You must remember, people die at war, especially if it's unexpected. And with The Howlers being so skilled - with all the unnecessary killing they do - the North Pack lost more than The Howlers. So, she thought they would hate her for being his other half or kill her. Because that would hurt Alexander badly, him and his Pack. Not the best logic but, she was panicked once she found out about what happened to Isaiah.

Q: What the heck is the cover up story of her running?

A: She left the house, upset and never returned. Simple.

Q: What is Nathaniel's surname?

A: Russo. Mariska calls him by his mother's surname - Gorbachev. Because when they were living in Russia he went by Mikhail Gorbachev, he only changed it to Nathaniel Russo once he was certain that he was not going to attack his father and brothers. - it's Mikhail Nathaniel Gorbachev-Russo.

Q: Alpha Jay or Alpha Jameson?

A: Jay is Alpha Jameson Peters Jr. His father was Alpha Jameson Peters Sr., to not cause confusion I cut Jameson short to Jay.

Q: Why does Eli always run off / not include Alexander in her plans.

A: She's a very selfless person. I think she's like Tris (Divergent Series) - she doesn't often look very selfless bc you guys are on Leiander's side. But that's only bc Alexander is never in danger, he doesn't need saving, so she doesn't go out of her way for him bc he doesn't really need it. For their Pack, the North, Isaiah, whatever she'll be there in a heartbeat bc that's how loyal she is. The Emotions & The Dream are there to show you guys that when Alex is involved however she will go out of her way too. She loves Alex, she always did. She just didn't want to give in first. I didn't want her to give in while he messes her about. I purposely made her a very strong character. (:

Q: Why did Alex try to push Elijah away?

A: He did not want her involved with him when he was still struggling with his dark side. He thought Mariska was dead, so he thought he couldn't have it removed - only the one that hexed you can remove it - so, he wanted to be able to control it rather than always have the possibility of lashing out. 

Q: Why was Ivan so upset with Alexander that he had his mate shot?

A: He is upset with Alex bc he believes Alex is at fault for Romania's death, when he isn't. She died by mistake.

Q: Who exactly is Romania and what is the lie Alexander told Elijah which led to Nathaniel having to distance himself?

A: Nathaniel fell in love with Romania who is Ivan's mate. The lie is that Alex said Nate fell in love with her sister Yuko - who does exist but doesn't really play a part - when he didn't. He basically stole Romania from Ivan. He had to distance himself bc he fell in love with Eli.
