Jaspis Human AU (Jasper x Lapis)

*Jaspers POV*

I look down at the ground as I make my way across the parking lot. Another boring day. School's not something I pay much attention to, usually I just show up learn some shit and play football. My keys jingle as I twirl them around my finger. Maybe I should try making friends other than those beef head jocks on the team. Now where did I... My thoughts get cut short. A little ways ahead of me I see three girls, two of them pushing around and laughing at the other. One of the three I recognized as Vidalia, a girl in my English class but the other two iv'e never seen. The other bully was short and tan with long (almost white) blonde hair and a big tattoo of a purple gem on her chest. The girl being thrown around was a tall skinny girl with blue dyed hair and a very pale complexion. Ugh.. I wanna help but staying out of drama is how I get by here. My truck is just across from them so maybe I can just- I hear a loud crack as Vidalia's fist slams into the bluenette's cheek. Before I even realized what was happening I was walking over there ready to kick this girl's ass.

"What the hell is going on here!" I yell pushing the bully away.

"Just havin' a little fun with this dweeb huh V" the shorter girl scoffs smiling down at the wounded girl who is now on the ground. Vidalia laughs looking me up and down.

"I'd get out here before I beat you both senseless" I growl. I can be pretty intimidating when I try.

"Pshh whatever dude we were done with her anyways." The short one says before turning and walking away. I turn to face the blue haired girl who's now just laying on the ground clutching her face.

"Are you alright?" I ask reaching my hand out to her for support. She takes it, pulling herself up slowly.

"y-yes i'll be okay" She says in a faint voice "thank you for defending me"

"No prob'Bob" I say rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly

"My name's Lapis"

"oh- I didn't think it was actually bob" I say laughing slightly "I'm Jasper"

"Oh heh.."

"So uh do you need a ride home or anything?" I ask spinning my key once again.

"I'd say yes but my mother would be furious about me getting beat up..."

"Well I can take you to my house I guess" I offer "My mom is gone for a week or so and i don't really have any plans"

"You wouldn't mind?" she asks wiping some blood from the corner of her mouth.

"Course not, lets go"

*Lapis's POV*

We walk into Jasper's house, it's pretty normal sized for the houses around here. About as big as mine actually. I still don't know how I've never seen this girl before, I tend to pay attention to people at school.

"Um you can just sit on the couch, i'll be right back." Jasper says as she walks away to a different part of the house. Why would she help me? I'm a nobody. She easily could have just walked passed, just like everyone else does.

" Here" She hands me a bag with some ice in it and a glass of water and sits down next to me. The ice stings a bit when I hold it to my cheek but I don't mind as long as it makes the swelling go down.

"Thank you" I mumble looking down at my lap. A moment goes by in silence before I break it.

"Why did you help me?" I say louder than I planned.

"I'm not gonna just sit there while you get beat on."

"Everyone else does.."

"Not me."

My cheeks would have heated up to that statement had I not been holding ice to my face. I look back up at the large girl sitting next to me. She is really cute. Her white-silver dyed hair windblown from the drive over here since her drivers side window doesn't roll up. Also she has really pretty skin...Lapis stop that's creepy. Oh no she caught me looking. I look away again setting the ice on her coffee table beside my water.

"So you wanna watch a movie or something?" Jasper asks breaking the silence.

"Yeah sure" I reply smiling slightly. I'm at a cute girls house about to watch a movie with her.

"Horror movie okay?"

"Totally." Not totally. I get scared fairly easy, but I don't want to admit that so of course I had to say yes. Jasper gets up and puts the movie on turning off the lights on her way back to the couch.

*Later*

Half way through the movie and i'm already freaking out. Okay Lazuli stay cool don't embarra- suddenly a jump scare pops up and I cling on to Jasper's arm. Great she probably thinks i'm a wimp now. To my surprise, Jasper moves her arm and wraps it around me pulling me closer to her. I blush a deep red and snuggle closer to her.

"Ya know, you're really cute when you're scared." Jasper says in a flirty tone making me blush even more.

"S-shut up" I reply looking up to meet her gaze. Putting her finger underneath my chin she leans in closer and whispers "Make me."

God damn it. I close the gab between us kissing her passionately. She kisses back and moves her hand to my waist holding me close. I pull away after a moment and look the silver haired girl in the eyes.

"what?" She asks, chuckling slightly.

"You're the first person to be nice to me all year and here I am almost making out with you on your couch." I look away " Please tell me you didn't just save me so i'd trust you and let you get in my pants" Jasper pulls me into a hug and I can''t help but melt into her arms.

"I saved you because it looked like you needed help." She whispers to me " We're here almost making out because you turned out to be really sweet and I think I might like you" I nuzzle into Jasper's chest.

"I think I might like you too"
