Chapter 16: Together Again

A/N I know I haven't posted anything in a while. Like a little over a month? (Way more now) I am sorry guys! I had my play to work on and finish- which I did! It was the best, I really hope I didn't lose you guys. Choosing Fate is one of my favorite stories! <3 I know it has taken me forever to do- but hopefully I can work through it fast now. Chapter 16: Together Again

Bella's POV

I blinked my eyes open, staring around me. I was laying on my side, my face was buried in someone's chest. It took me a second to realize who it was. Memories of last night flooded my mind, and I couldn't help but smile a little. Last night was definitely in the top five nights I've ever had.

I looked up, peaking through my lashes to glance at Edward. His arms were snared around me lightly, we were both naked, nothing but a blanket to cover us. Last night I used my powers on Edward to make him sleep, he was so excited before hand so I couldn't wait to talk to him after.

He looked so peaceful in his sleep. His pale face was calm, his eyes were shut lightly. If he wasn't breathing I'd think he was dead. Carefully, I leaned up, and draped half of my body on top of him gently. He wouldn't feel my weight, as I was light. I knew he wouldn't wake up.

I touched his cheek with my hand, and brought my mouth to his slowly. As soon as our lips touched, sparks and tingles shot through me. And suddenly I felt him move from under me, I knew I startled him, because he jumped. I couldn't help but smile against his lips.

He pulled me closer to him, and kissed me back. We stayed like that, kissing for a little bit. Until he moved a little; I looked down at him, and saw him smiling up at me. I squealed, as he suddenly rolled us over so I was on the bottom. I could feel every inch of his body on mine, and it only made me want him even more. Why did he have to torture me?

“Well good morning to you too,” I teased him, sticking out my tongue. He laughed, and pulled me closer to him. I couldn't help but moan. Urg! Why did he do this to me? He grinned down at me. “Are you going to do that every morning?” He asked me. I don't know if he was joking or not.

I chuckled. “Only if you want,” I told him. It was a pretty good wake up call. He stroked my face gently. He looked beautiful, his face was calm and relaxed. Which reminds me! “Did you sleep well?” I asked him curiously.

His eyes widened. Did he forget that I made him sleep for the first time in years? He probably felt better after it. The joys of having a wife with extreme power. He shook his head. “I forgot,” he admitted. He grabbed my face in his hands, and kissed me on the lips lightly. It was just a peck, but it was still sweet.

“Thank you,” He poked my nose. He looked like he actually meant it too. “So I'm guessing it was good?” I asked him. He laughed at that, before smiling at me. “You had no idea,” He sighed. I wondered what he dreamed about? I hoped it was something worth it. After years of not being able to sleep, hundreds! He should dream something worth it.

He stared at me, like he was watching me. Though it wouldn't surprise me if he was. “What did you dream about?” I asked him before I could even think of what I was saying. My eyes widened at what I just said. “I- you don't have to answer. That just sort of came out,” I explained.
