I was taking my daily walk, but I decided to change things up a bit and I went down a street I haven't been down in years, I think it was called Bond Street? I don't know, it made me think of Bond, James Bond.
I didn't have my headphones on for once because I was listening to the sweet song the birds were singing. it was a nice change of point of view, from the busy streets of Columbus to this nice, peaceful back road with trees and squirrels and birds.
I looked around, just taking everything in, the peace, the quiet, the silen-
" I know, where you stand.
silent in the trees
and that's, where I am
silent, in the trees"
who was that? where was it coming from? I thought I was the only one out here...
"why won't you speak
where I happen to be
silent in trees
standing cowardly"
whoever it was, their voice is beautiful.
" I can feel your breath
I can feel, my death
I want to know you
I want to see
I want to say,
hello
hello
hell-" the voice cut off
I walked faster towards the mysterious voice, the angelic presence. as I got closer the voice sounded like it was above me. holy crap(pun totally not intended) what if they really are an angel?
I looked up, and I saw a small boy with dark brown hair with wide brown eyes, staring at me from above.
he was perched precariously on 2 separated branches, and it looked as if he was almost a statue, frozen in my sight
"o-oh, I di-didn't s-see you. i-i-i'm s-sorry, I'll s-stop" he winced
"no-no! that was beautiful! your voice is amazing!" I almost shouted at him so he could hear me, he must've been at least 10 feet up. "come down here, I wanna talk to you!" I hoped he would agree and come down.
soon enough the boy was adjusting himself and climbing down the branches one by one until he got to about 5 feet above ground and he jumped down.the only time I got a good look at his face was when he landed, was he crying?
T Y L E R
what the hell am I doing?
