Jackson Taylor
I can't be running late. I was supposed to meet my friends at the front of the school, but since my brother is mad at me, for reasons, he didn't wake me up. I am running as fast as I can. At this point, I'm only going to be five minutes late. As I'm running, I start thinking about what my brother does to me. I can't believe he does that. The things he does to me. A normal brother doesn't do those things. I wish I was stronger so I could fight against him. I really nee-
"Ow!" I look up and see that I ran into someone. A guy. He has the heart-shaped face with a wide forehead and a pointed chin. He has high, wide cheekbones. His dark, but delicate eyes gave his pale skin some natural contrast. His eyes were small and spaced evenly apart, sitting below his trimmed eyebrows. He had a small, but rounded nose. His nose led to his slightly parted lips. He seemed to be small and underweight. His clothes were black, they matched his black hair and black piercings that he has. He has stretched ears and spider bites on the left side of his lips.
"Are you just going to sit there and stare at me all day or are you going to get off and help me up?" The guy asked sassily. I quickly got up and held my hand out for the guy.
"I'm so, so, so sorry. I was running late and I wasn't watching where I was going." He groaned and looked at the watch on my wrist. After that, he broke off into a run. I looked at my watch and it said 8:27. Oh no. I'm ten minutes late now. I looked up and saw the guy running. Before I could stop myself, I yelled out to him.
"Wait! What's your name!?" He turned around and stopped. He brought his hands to his mouth and used them to make his voice louder.
"It's Aiden. Aiden Woods." And with that, he ran off. Wow, he is something.

I slowly open the door, trying to not get noticed by my teacher, Mr. Brown. I quickly get in and shut the door silently. I start to tip toe to my desk. I'm right at my seat when Mr. Brown talks.
"Go to the office, Mr. Taylor." My jaw falls. My mouth is now wide open. The whole class bursts out laughing. I look to one of my friends and they just laugh. I groan and walk back out the door, not caring if I made too much noise.
I get to the office and I see Aiden at the front desk. I listen to their conversation.
"Okay, Mr. Woods here is your new schedule that you will have for the rest of the school year. The room number's and hallway numbers are to the left of where the classroom name is written. Have a nice day." He nods and turns around, only to see me. He rolls his eyes and groans loudly. I grab his wrist and he flinches. I slowly let go.
"Aiden... See you later?" He looks me in the eyes and just nods a quiet 'yes'. He turns around and walks out the door. As he walks past me, I smell him. I stand there for a minute thinking about his smell. I shake my head. I do not need to be thinking about another guys smell. I have a girlfriend!
I walk to the front desk and clear my throat. Mrs. Grady looks at me and rolls her eyes. I'm in here a lot because of my brother being at me for the same reasons.
"Just go back to class, Jackson." She sounded annoyed. This was the third time this week that I have been late. I really need to get an alarm clock. I sigh and grab the note that she had just written for me. By the time I was back to the class, the bell rang. I groaned and started to walk to my second period. Half way there, I see my girlfriend, Angelica. Around her was my friends. I could tell that they hated her a lot. They were always glaring at her and called her names. She saw me and ran up to me putting her arm around my neck pulling me into a kiss. I didn't kiss back. She kind of tasted nasty. She pulled back and frowned.
