Aiden Taylor

I have been sitting up in Jackson's room for a while now, just holding on to Jackson, hugging the life out of him. We are waiting for mom and dad to come up with a decision on Chase's punishment. I honestly think that he should be sent to jail. I have no idea what Jackson is thinking about. I hope he thinks the same because I don't want chase to ever get near him again. My thoughts get cut off by the sound of people coming up the stairs. Jackson stares at the door, waiting for it to be opened. Finally,it was. Jackson's mom and dad stood there next to Chase, whose head was down. I pushed Jackson further up in the bed, trying to keep him away from Chase.

"Jackson, Aiden," she looked at both of us. "We have decided that we are going to tell the police about the situation between Chase and you. Chase also confessed to doing the same thing to Sophie. We also wanted to know if you wanted to go down to the station and tell them what happened." I looked at Jackson who was just staring. He didn't look like he was ready for even being near Chase, let alone be in the same car as him.

"I don't think he is ready to be near Chase," I spoke up. His mom closed her eyes and nodded.

"Come on, Chase." They walked out of the room. Neither of us talked til we heard the front door slam shut.

"Thank you." I looked back at Jackson.

"For what? You really didn't need to be with Chase. He just tried to rape you." He tensed at the word 'rape'.

"No, thank you for everything. You're a really good friend." I frowned when he said, friend. His eyes widened. "No! I didn't mean-" He lowered his head, not even wanting to try to fix what he said.

"You're a really good friend, too." He didn't reply, he just stared into my eyes and I stared straight back into his. I started to lean closer and I could tell he was doing the same. We were only a few inches away. We are about to kiss. I can't believe we are about to-

"Jackson! Your mom told me everything! Are you alright!?" Both Jackson and I jerked away from each other. Jackson glared at Noah when he turned to look at me. Maybe he wanted to kiss me? Is that why he's glaring at Noah because he interrupted us?

"Yes, I'm fine. Aiden caught him on top of me, then punched him and he fell into unconsciousness." He said bluntly. Noah looked at me and then at my figure. He probably couldn't believe someone like me could punch someone and make them pass out. Noah looked over to Jackson and raised an eyebrow. "I'm telling the truth." Noah held his hands up in surrender.

"I just had an adrenaline rush, I guess."

"Oh, I understand that I guess." I looked down at my body. I'm never going to be perfect enough for Jackson. Not even his best friend believed I could do it. Why must I be so skinny and weightless? Jackson must have seen the look in my eyes as I looked at my body because he put his hand on my shoulder and gave me a reassuring look. My lips curled slightly at the ends. Not enough to count as a smile, though.

As if Noah wasn't even there, Jackson started to talk to me.

"So, Aiden, how was work? Anything interesting happens?" My eyes widened as I remembered the events that took place today. Jackson looked confused at first, then I started to explain.

"Well, this guy I was serving today found out I was gay somehow and told me that he didn't want me as his server. It ended up with me crying and Mason almost getting in a fight." His eyes widened. I could tell that Noah's eyes were just as wide as Jackson's, without even looking at him.

"As in Mason, from our lunch table." He pointed to Noah and himself.

"Yeah, Lukas was there, too, but he didn't get into it as much as Mason did. Diana made the guy leave."
