Life In Venice

A couple weeks later, they all have been hard at work learning Italian. Vincent decided that Eliza has learned enough Italian for him to show her around Venice. There werent anymore arguments with Elizas father after that day. Everyone has warmed up to Vincent except her father, actually. Grayson and Wyatt like watching either soccer or football with him. Serenity has the hots for him, but luckily for Eliza, Vincent isnt really into her. Vincent was showing Nathan, Averys father, all the vintage cars Aldo put in the garage. And Adeline, Elizas mother, loves cooking nice homemade meals with the help of Vincent. So everyone likes Vincent except Bryant, Elizas father.

Eliza was waiting for Vincent so she could finally see Venice. Vincent walked to where Eliza was and Eliza was speechless at what he was wearing. He was wearing a checkered collared shirt, under a blue blazer with black slacks. He had a dark blue pocket square to complete the look. He looks amazing in that... Eliza thought to herself. "You ready to see Venice finally?" He asks, snapping her out of her trance.

"Definitely." She said, Vincent opened the door for her like a gentleman and they went to see Venice.

They have been walking around Venice for awhile, Vincent ran into some people he used to know, and when he wasnt, he was pointing out all the interesting facts about the city. Eliza was amazed by the city and how much Vincent knew about it. "So... What do you think so far?" Vincent asked as they were walking on a sidewalk in a park.

"Its amazing! I cant believe you know so much about it..." She exclaims, smiling and looking around, taking in the beautiful scenery. They keep walking in the park, talking a little bit before an older woman was offering something in Italian.

"Vorresti un fiore?" The lady asked. Vincent stopped walking and responded to the lady. Eliza didnt quite know the sentence she said, but judging by the basket of flowers the lady is holding, it had something to do with the flowers.

"Si prega, quanto?" Vincent responded, fishing in his pocket for his wallet. The lady said something else and Vincent gave her about ten Italian dollars. (A/N Im not sure what Italians call money so i just said that) The lady gave him a flower and said 'thank you' in Italian. He then turned to Eliza and held out the flower. "Per te..." He told her, which she remember means 'for you'. She blushed and took the flower from him, and they continued walking.

"Thank you..." Eliza said softly after a couple minutes.

"You're welcome. Are you hungry?" He asked.

"Eh, a little." Eliza shrugged and Vincent nodded.

"Well i know this little deli around here that is really good. You can also practice your Italian when ordering what you want..." Eliza smiles and nods.

"Okay." They walk for a couple more minutes before stopping at a little building that says 'Luca e Giovanni Gastronomia' or in english, 'Luca and Giovanni Deli'. They walk in and walk to the counter. Vincent decides to order first so Eliza has time to figure out what she wants.

After their little lunch, they decided to head back to the house. When they walked in, everyone, including Bryant, rushed to them and bombarded them with all sorts of questions. Except, Avery was the only one not there...

"Did anything happen?"

"What did you do to her you son of a bitch!?"

"Have you seen Avery?"

"Do they know you came here?" All those questions and more were asked. Both Vincent and Eliza were confused.

"Woah! What happened? And please, one at a time..." Vincent asked, stepping into the house more.

"Oh im sure you know what happened... Vincent." Bryant spits. Vincent furrows his eyebrows.

"I dont know what you are talking about, sir..." Vincent says calmly.

"Bryant stop it... Vincent, Eliza. Avery went to get eggs for dinner tonight a little after you two left... She hasnt come back..." Adeline explains. "You didnt happen to see her, have you?" She continues.

"No, i havent. I have no clue what couldve happened... I doubt they couldve found us here..." Vincent says, scratching his head.

"You sure you didnt kill her or something?" Bryant spits again. Adeline hits him in the arm.

"Bryant, stop accusing him of nothing! He saved us, why would he kill us? I know you dont trust him but thats only because you know Eliza likes him..."

"So what are we gonna do about my daughter?" Nathan asks, looking at Vincent for answers.

"Ill call everyone i know here, tell them her description to see if they saw anything... Dont worry Mr. McKinny, we will find her." Vincent assures, getting his phone ready to call people.

I know its kinda short but its just a filler chapter. I also wanted to leave it on a little cliffhanger on whats to come... What do you think happened to Avery? Do you think they found where Vincent has been hiding and took her? Next update soon, thanks guys!
