Wings of fire: the Scorching

Alliance

"What! The general's dead!" Said queen Marine, the sea wing queen.
"Very few survived the attack. No commanding officers from that battalion are alive." Crimson said to the new council.
"This is great." Said queen snowflake, the ice wing queen, sarcastically. "We're already losing this war." She added.
"We need an edge." Said queen chameleon, the sand wing queen.
"I might have an idea." Said parrot. "Their was a certain species of animal, great hunters. They were even a threat to us." He added.
"Predators." Said queen vine, the rain wing queen. "Incredibly smart, pack hunters, 9 feet tall, 12 feet long. They have three 5 inch retractable claws on 2 arms. They have three 7 inch claws on both of their feet." She added. "Also, their are rumors that they know dragon language."
"Yes, but how can we use them?" Asked queen Toad, the mud wing queen.
"I've gotten reports of scavengers attacking predators." Replied queen vine. "So we might be able to form an alliance with them."
"But how?" Asked queen Garnet, who had been silent so far.
"Leave that to jade squad." Said Crimson.
"Are you sure you're up for it, sergeant?" Asked queen garnet.
"Yes your majesty." Crimson replied.
"Then you are dismissed." Said queen marine.
So they left the new council's room.
"Well that went well." Crimson said breaking the silence.
"We have no time to waste, to the rainforest." Said parrot.
"Not without the rest of jade squad." Crimson told him.
"Oh yeah, right, forgot about them." He replied.
They went to the council building's waiting courtyard.
As parrot and Crimson approached jade squad, parrot said.
"So, we have to call Crimson Sergeant now so that's cool."
"Don't worry, I won't go power crazy, but we have a job to do. Our mission is in the rainforest, I'll tell you more on the flight out, but I'm starving, so food first, briefing later." Crimson said.
4 hours later.
"So we're here to make an alliance with an intelligent, pack hunting animal that kills dragon, but is threatened by scavengers like dragons?" Asked snowball, seaming beaten down by the extremist humid heat of the rainforest.
"Basically, yes." Crimson said.
"Quite frankly, it's a little frightening." Said hammerhead.
"No, it's exciting and important for the war." Said parrot. "So focus."
"Quiet, did you hear that?" Asked snowball.
Something walked out of the trees in front of jade squad.
"That's a predator." Said parrot.
"Really? They they look like a 1 year old, wingless, 2 legged, and deformed dragonet." Crimson said.
"I think it's cute, like a 1 year old dragonet." Said willow.
"I'll talk to it." Said scorpion. "Doesn't look that scary."
He approached it trying to look as big as possible.
"Hello, I am Scorpion." He said, really slowly.
"I can understand you just fine, get to the point before my pack and I eat you and your friends." The predator said.
"Well, that's kind of unsettling, but we're here about the scavengers-" Scorpion was interrupted.
"The scavengers! Those monsters have killed thousands of us! Unless you offer help disposing of them, you might as well kill yourselves and spare the pain." It said in a very angry tone.
"Actually, that's exactly why we're here." Scorpion said.
"Oh!" The predator replied, looking shocked. It made 3 screechy noises and 14 other predators emerged from the trees around them.
"Go on." The predator said, signaling for scorpion to continue.
"Well about 2 months ago, the scavengers killed 6 of our council members, and left the last alive long enough to declare war on the scavengers. We shipped out 2 days ago and were attacked yesterday." Scorpion replied.
"So you're fighting with an organized army, but need our help?" The predator asked.
"Yes." He said.
"Makes sense, with you in the air and us on the ground, we just might have a chance." It replied.
"Well then your going to have to come with us, our leaders would like to meet you." Crimson said. "Fell free to take 6 others with you, we can fly you to our capital."
"I think those 6 should be the other pack leaders. Oh and I'm sharp claw, the alpha of this pack." Sharp claw said. "Come with us to our pack home while we get them."
So jade squad followed sharp claw to the pack's home.

"So how many are their in your pack?" Asked willow.
"Warrior wise, we have 100. In total 150." Sharp claw said.
"I thought predator packs were smaller than that." Said parrot.
"They were, but with the increasing number of deaths from scavengers, we had to band together for survival." Sharp claw said. "Well we're here. Just find a spot to rest and the other alphas will be here shortly." He added.
The pack home wasn't much, a place to eat, a place that looked like it was for wounded, and a stream near that. As sharp claw said, they found a spot to sleep.
3 hours later.
"Wake up, we're ready." said sharp claw.
They left immediately strait for the dragon's capital.
4 hours later.
"Nice to know you're on board, alphas." Said queen garnet, after we arrived in the council room.
"Yes, this war should be easier on both of our races now." Said keen eyes, a female alpha.
"So how many troops can you offer?" Asked queen snowflake.
"Over all we can offer about 1,000 battle ready predators." Said great jaws, another predator alpha.
"We'll need their sizes to make armor for them." Said queen toad.
"No need. Armor would only throw off our balance and destroy our stealth abilities." Said sharp claw.
"So I see. If you change your minds, come talk to us." Said queen garnet.
"That we will." Said keen eyes.
The predator alphas left the council chambers.
"Your majesties, what is our next assignment?" Asked Crimson.
"We have been planing an assault on a base critical to the scavengers, your job, with the help of a 5 predator squadron, is to neutralize all scavenger air vehicles." Said queen chameleon
"With those out of the picture, the battle will be much easier." Added queen toad.
"It would be much appreciated if you could grab some scavenger tech while you're there." Said queen clear sight, the night wing queen. "Not only will it help us learn how to protect against the scavengers weapons, but to hopefully be able to make our own advanced weapons." She added.
"Ok, so when and where do we go."asked parrot.
"You attack 7 hours from now. The base is at the foot of jade mountain, and the predators will meet you on the edge of the rainforest." Said queen marine.
"Got it, your majesties." Crimson said as jade squad left.
