Scarlet's, also known as Shadow's, En was placed around the buildings. It was as if the entire area of buildings was protected by a translucent red orb, that moved in a circular position like a tornado. Her eyes were dark and focused onto the ground. She sat atop a high crate as her En radiated from her body.
Her En soon caught onto something and her head shot up staring at the wall ahead of her. Hisoka and the others looked up at her.
"What is it?" Franklin asked. Hisoka only stared at her with his eyebrows raised.
"Find something?" Chrollo asked. Shadow's brow furrowed at the aura she sensed. She recognized it and knew its location.
'The fence... Outside east...' She wanted to tell them where it was but the aura she felt seemed to familiar.
"Nothing... False alarm." She lied her eyes still focused.
"Could it have been a bird? I haven't felt anything step into the building yet." Kortopi's small voice said.
"It's fine. It's gone. If it was someone they weren't of use." She told them.
Little did she or the others know, what Shadow's En had felt was Killua's presence. He felt the intense aura become less hostile than when he first entered. He soon left the premises, leaving Shadow's En naked to human contact.
Chrollo looked at her intensely, and went back to his previous conversation with the others.
"You've already told me everything Uvo knew about the chain user?" He asked Shalnark.
"Yeah. When we were investigating the Nostrade Family using the Hunters website, Uvo pointed to three members at the top. " Shalnark answered as he lifted a paper with people's names and faces.
"It was late night on the 1st when we realized they were the daughter's bodyguards. And I met that daughter yesterday." Chrollo said.
"And that's when you stop her power." Phinks clarified.
"Yeah." Chrollo lifted a piece of paper. "Here is an updated list of bodyguards. There are two new members." Phinks, Shalnark and Franklin walked forward to bend down to see the paper better.
"Wow." Phinks commented.
"They already have new information up?" Shalnark was shocked himself.
"Seven bodyguards...perhaps more." Franklin said. "That's a lot of people to guard one girl."
"He must love his daughter." Phinks added.
"He probably cares more about her ability. Her father achieved his current status using her power. There are many who resent his advancement." Chrollo explained.
"Buuut... Why did she come to Yorknew City?" Shizuku squeaked.
"For the auction I'd imagine." Answered Pakunoda. As lightning struck with a loud thunder following, something seemed to click in Chrollo's mind like he had been shocked with it and lowered his head as in I'm understanding or shame.
