"Why are you so clumsy?"

"Why are you talking to me?"

"The task I gave you is as simple as ABC."

"Easy for you to say, you don't have a sprained arm and foot."

"Why did even Christopher assigned you as my assistant."

"Adviser."

"Assistant."

"Adviser."

"Assis-"

"Andrea, just relax and hold that damned ice pack." Ethan sighed who is seated beside me on the grass while coach Erwin glared at the both of us from the reclining chair he's sitting at.

The rest of the practice went by, with the team playing shirts versus skins -in which I won't argue because who doesn't want to see shirtless guys hitting and catching balls, running around sweaty?- with me and Coach bickering about all the little things and Ethan cutting off the both of us.

We drove home -I said 'home'. What I meant was the Dolan mansion- with the help of Marcus the driver, since Ethan is 'too tired' to drive us back to his mansion.

"Marcus, can we please go to Comet's first before we go home?" I asked him from the backseat.

"Of course, miss!" Marcus answered enthusiastically. I love that old man -even though he refused to let me sit on the passenger's seat- he reminds me of a butler.

We arrived at Comet's safe and sound and Ethan being the stubborn human being he is exited the car and joined me.

"Why do you even go to this part of the town? it's dangerous here."

"The pastries and coffee here is worth it!" I answered enthusiastically.

"It's so cozy in here." I looked at him to see him looking around with a smile.

"I know right, this is where I basically grew up." And he glanced my way.

"Darlin'!" There goes Comet's western accent, the rounded woman hurrying towards us.

"Comet!" I greeted her, imitating her accent and I heard Ethan chuckle from behind me.

"Where have ya been? I've been waiting for you to visit me here." Comet said as she looked me over worriedly. This is what I like about her, she's my bestfriend and grandmother 2in1 although I'm sure I'm nowhere near related to her considering her accent and her blonde hair is nowhere near my dark blue hair, "An old woman can only wait for a short period of time for her favorite granddaughter." She added with a big smile looking behind me.

"And who is this fine looking gentleman?" Comet asked her eyes twinkling. Oh God.

"I'm--"

"My Andrea's boy toy!" She announced enthusiastically, hugging Ethan who looked uncomfortable, probably because of the label that Comet gave him.

"No, Ma! He's a friend of mine." I looked at Ethan and he looked at me.

Yah. Friend.

"Potato. Potahto. Same thing." Comet rolled her amusement filled eyes, leading us inside the kitchen, A.K.A where the magic happens.

"Now I know where you got your sense of humor." Ethan whispered in my ear as he passed by me to enter the kitchen fully unlike me who just gawked at the pastries like it's my fi--

"Darlin', don't act like it's your first time entering my kitchen." Comet finished my thought then turned to Ethan, "Feel free to get whatever you like, like my darlin' Andrea always does." And she pat my cheek before exiting the kitchen leaving me and Ethan alone.
