A week has passed. And every single day, Ethan has something planned for the both of us. From midnight picnics to Go Carting. And today, we're going to an art gallery, he told me earlier this morning.
I never would have guessed that Ethan is the 'art type' of guy, but then, surprise is a surprise.
"Ready?" Ethan asked, towering over me as I sat on the grass in front of our school.
"Where?" Gray asked who is laid out beside me.
"Can we come?"
"Hey! We can finally hang out as a group."
"Yeah, we never do that anymore."
"Let's go to the new arcade."
"No, let's go t--"
"No one is coming." Ethan cut them off. They were having a full blown conversation about this 'hang out' and I can tell that it's starting to irk Ethan.
"So it's just you?" Seb asked and I can see Ethan clenching his jaw.
"No, you--"
"Why don't we just all go out?" I cut him off.
"They can go and hang out on their own." Ethan spoke and I narrowed my eyes at him, silently telling him to be nice.
"But we can just hang out all together." Gray suggested, enthusiastically, "I know you've already planned where you're going. So, we'll just tag along." He added, gesturing towards himself and our other friends. The three quickly nodded.
"No--"
"Great idea!" I cut Ethan off once again, clapping enthusiastically.
"They can't come." Ethan turned to me with a scowl.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Yeah, why not? You two always go out on dates, why can't it be a group date today?" Seb asked pouting, his arms crossed.
"Because I don't want you to come." Seb scoffed, still pouting at Ethan's answer.
I stood up and faced Ethan.
"C'mon, Eth. We can go out again tomorrow, just the two of us. I'll even plan it. We can go paintball fighting, or to the beach--"
"I wanna go to the beach!" I turned my head to the side to see Seb with a giddy look on his face and a hand raised. I smiled at his cuteness.
"I promise, just the two of us." I turned back to Ethan and whispered.
"Okay, fine." He threw his head back and groaned. Cheers erupted from the guys and soon they're on their feet, heading to the cars. Jack, Seb and Aaron in Gray's white G-class Mercedes and me with Ethan.
"Whoa, what is this place? I thought we're going to a library?" Gray mused once we entered the building. Painting of different colors, styles and sizes line the walls.
"Gallery, Gray. We planned on going to a gallery." Jack corrected him.
"Oh, I thought I heard library." Gray replied, walking around the place. Soon, a guy approached us and told us a bunch of things about the paintings and he led us to a door and to a room. Big windows covered two walls of the room, teasels littered around the room, with tables filled with brushes, pencils, pens and different paints. The remaining walls are colored light grey while the floor remained the wooden brown color, pots of plants also covered the corners of the room and the big windows overlooking the city.
"We're gonna paint?" Aaron asked aloud.
"That's my original plan." Ethan replied.
"Wow! I'm your twin and I didn't even know you're the artsy type." Gray joked.
