POSTED AT 12:08 AM HAPPY NEW YEAR PEEPS!?!?!? WHAT'S YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTION??🎉🎊

"So damn protective."

Ethan's eyes never left mine. His eyes remained focused on me, particularly on my lips. That is, until someone spoke.

Ethan's gaze hardened before he moved his gaze to the side, focusing on Gray, who's sitting in the backseat. Ethan moved away from me and took a step to the side, opening the door to the backseat and glaring at Gray.

"What the hell are you doing here? Get out!" Ethan barked. I watch as Gray pouted and exited through the other side, "Move over." He then turned to me. I scooted to the passenger seat and saw Gray standing outside the car.

"What about Gray, how's he gonna get home?" I asked, turning to Ethan. His posture turned rigid at my statement.

"You're worried about him? Not me, whose face is covered in bruises and a split lip." His question turning into a statement and instantly I felt guilty.

"That's not what I mea--"

"Do you want me to bash in his face so then you'll have a reason to worry about him?" My eyes widened at his threat. Surely, he will not beat his own brother right? Even though Gray is in shape to fight him, I don't think Gray will fight back just for Ethan's entertainment. He was just that nice.

"No!" I exclaimed. Ethan shut the door on the backseat as I turn to the window, rolling it down.

"Don't worry about me, I can get home." Gray whispered leaning in, as the window rolled up automatically.

Or so I thought.

I snapped my head to Ethan's direction to see his hand on the remote thingy attached to his door, smirking to himself. I can't do anything about it but sigh and shake my head at his evil schemes. He will learn his lesson someday, and I will be the one to teach him that.

He started the engine and soon, we're on the road.

"Where are we going?"

"Somewhere." Ethan answered shortly, which annoyed me to the ends of the earth.

"Where. Are. We. Going?!" I almost shouted.

"I said, somewhere."

"And where is that 'somewhere'?" I asked again, growing more pissed as the seconds pass.

"Somewhere here in New City."

"What kind of answer is that?!"

"An answer that should be enough to shut you up." Ethan answered with a sigh in the end.

"Shut me up? Where are we going exactly? Where are you taking me? Where is that somewhere?!" I shouted, making hand gestures. Damn, I never use my hands this much.

"Will you just shut up and wait till we get there!" Ethan shouted back, finally loosing his calm.

"No! I will not shut up! I will not wait! I hate waiting!"

"If I said it's a surprise would that be enough answer?" Ethan gritted out, his hands clenching hard around the steering wheel making his knuckles go white.

"Of course not! I hate surprises!" I exclaimed, crossing my arms across my chest.

"Then what the fuck do you want me to say?!" Ethan yelled.

"I want you to tell me where we are going!"

"I can't do that." Ethan argued, frowning.

"And why not?"
