Emilia's P.O.V.

First day after christmas day and nationals is only 3 months awy! Since I am in the group that is responsible for the semi-finals and finals routine, I am really excited to work on the choreo for the dances. We'll get help from Emily, since she went to Nationals and knows what a nationals choreo need. I hope she will like our ideas, for semi-finals we thought about something like a battle between two groups (Obviously :D) and we thought that the theme could be based on the movie "The Huntsman: The Winters War". For our finals routine we knew we had to do something crazy, just because every finals routine The Next Step ever performed was like crazy, we wanted to do a "Peter Pan" piece, which was kinda perfect because the duet is also based on Peter Pan. The song we wanted to use is Peter Perry by Todrick Hall we just hope that everybody likes it.

"Okay guys it's time to show what you've got so far. First up Nico!" Riley announced and Nico goes in the middle of the dance floor. The song Masterpiece from Jessie J starts playing but it is a male version and more of a remix... Anyways he just dances perfect, trust me this boy has some talent. "That was awesome" Tom yells as Nico finishes his solo and everyone nodds in agreement while cheering for him.
"Next up is Victoria" she takes her position and starts dancing. She dances to the song Showstopper and everyone smiles at it, we all know that her mother won Miss Female Soloist with that song. She just gives it all, after she finishes we all clapp for her and it's Livs, Juliens and Toms turn to dance. This dance is just breath-taking, the song they dance to is The Rose and the storyline is just awesome. It is actually kinda surprising to see Liv dancing contemporary, she is more of an hip hop or jazz dancer but I have to say she is pretty good tho. After the dance it is time for the duet. There was a time when I was alone... gosh all of the dances for the rounds are just so amazing, I just hope our ideas are not to lame.
"Thank you everyone!" Riley told us "Now take 5 and after that we will see what we've got for our semi-finals and finals routine" she smiles at us and everyone starts talking.
I am so nervous!

Jake's P.O.V.

"I like it..." "Yeah same!" "Well done guys"
I am relieved that everybody likes our ideas, especially my mom!
"Okay guys, get started and hopefully we'll have the choreo by the end of the day" she said and everybody starts working, telling everyone their ideas...

After 5 hours rehearsal we're done with the choreos! "Okay guys, that was great! It was really nice to work with you! Riley will be taking over for me and she will work with you tomorrow! The routines are sick and with alot of hard work you will win nationals" with that everybody claps and grabs their water bottles, heading towards the exit.
I see Tory, talking to her brother, and I know I have to go for it!
"Ummm... hey guys! Would you mind if I talk to Tory for a minute?" I ask. "Oh no... it's fine. I'll wait for you outside" he answers and leaves. "So, whats wrong?" she asks. "Well I actually think it's a good idea to break up with Nico!" "Wait what?" she yells at me with wide eyes. "Yeah, I mean he is..." I try to tell but she interrupts me "No I don't wanna hear that! Goodbye!"
She's gone! She's gone! Good job Jake, good job! You're such an idiot! Now she'll never like you, not even as just a friend! But wait, I am not giving up! She will be mine!
