'Just Friends'

Julien's P.O.V.

So today is the day. Today I will go on a date with Emilia. Am I nervous? 100%!
I hope she will like it, I will take her to the small restaurant at the end of the city, which is really good. The thing is I really don't know how I feel about her, it just feels weird. I really like her as a friend, but do I like her as more as just a friend. I am really confused...

"Hey loser!" my sister suddenly decides to come into my room.
"You know that polite people knock at the door before coming in"
"Whatever..." she rolls her eyes "Are you excited for your date with Emi?"
"Oh my god! Would you stop?" I ask annoyed "You literally asked me that question at least three times every single day"
"I'll take that as a yes"
"Leave!"
"Don't you wanna hear some dating advice from your wise sister" she asks flipping her hair back.
"No... just no! And now leave!" I push her out of my room and close the door behind her.
"What did you say about being polite again?" she yells.
"Shut up!" I can actually feel how much she wanna hit me right now.
It is 5pm which means I have one hour left before I'll pick up Emilia.


Emilia's P.O.V.

I never felt this nervous before, I really didn't. I have my first official date today... How exciting!?
Julien will pick me up in only 30 minutes and I am ready. I wonder where he will take me.
I decided to wear something casual...

The last few minutes felt like hours, but finally I hear the doorbell ring and I go downsatirs to open it.

"Hey Julien"
"Hey, you look beautiful."
"Thank you, you don't look so bad too"
He smiles at me and I smile back.
"You ready?"
"Yep!" I say good bye to my parents and go outside to his car.
Silence fills the car, it's really strange because usually Julien and I talk alot. But today it's different.
After like 15 minutes we arrive at a small restaurant. We go inside and it looks really nice. It's not like every other restaurant I can't tell you why, it's just different. We sit down and suddenly we start talking. It was just as usual, we talked about dance, teachers, our families and stuff. I was really glad that it wasn't as awkward as it was before.
After around 2 hours we decided to go for a walk. It is snowing outsideand it's dark, only the halos of the street lamps give the night some light. It's actually relly romantic.
We go to the park, holding hands. After a while we stop, just looking in each others eyes before leaning in.
The kiss was different than the one we had before. Not just the fact that we were totally drunk and couldn't think straight. I just feel like this kiss isn't right...

Julien's P.O.V.

This is not something that is meant to be...
I pull away and I can see in her eyes that she doesn't feel well.
"Erm.... let me be honest with you... I think this didn't mean anything to me..." I tell her.
"I feel the same way"
"I am relieved, because I couldn't see you hurt" I reply.
"So we stay friends?"
"Just friends!"
We give each other a hug and I drive her back home.

As I enter my house I mentally prepared for an over excited Tory. For my luck she didn't even cared or she didn't hear the front door, well I don't care because that means she wont annoy me.
I go into the living room where my parents watching a movie.

"Hey, how was your date?" my dad asks.
"Not that bad, but we both agreed that there is nothing between us" I explain.
"Alright!"
"But I actually prepared to be annoyed by my sister"
"Well I guess she is busy" my mom tells me laughing.
"Wait... what!?" I am confused.
"Nico is here" my dad says.
"That makes sense. I will go upstairs, good night!"
"Good night!" they both reply.

I go into my room and scroll to social media, when I get a message.

Liv: How was your date?😏😏😏

I forgot about that one...

Julien: Not you again...

Liv: Oh come on I am your best friend! Tell me!😁

Julien: Ok... long story short: We kissed but both of us didn't 'felt' anything or whatever so we decided to stay JUST FRIENDS!

Liv: That's sad, because now I have to look for another girl crazy enough to date you 😘

Julien: I hate you! 😹

Liv: You don't, darling! Whatever do you know what Tory is up to, cause she doesn't reply to my messages.👀

Julien: Well Nico is here so you probably know what they're doing 😹

Liv: Ewww😷

Julien: Oh come on, if you and Max do it then you probably don't think it's disgusting😹

Liv: Seriously, shut up!😹

Julien: 😹😹😹

Liv: I gotta go now, see ya monday at school ✌

Julien: Bye ✌

Really really short chapter, but I promise the next chapter will be extra long and it will face a topic that is not so great. Be excited and I am out!
