Solving Problems, or not ...!?

Liv's P.O.V.

"Come in" my best friend tells the person in front of her door, I don't think she knows that it is me. I open door slowly...
"Hey" I say with a weak smile, she looks at me and smiles back.
"Hey" is all she answers. I walk over to her bed and sit next to her.
"I am sorry" we say at the same time. We look at each other and start laughing.
"Look, I am sorry that I didn't hang out with you alot since me and Nico were together"
"It's fine tho, I think I was a little to hard on you" I reply. "But seriously, since when is your brother so weird. He only talks about stupid things" I add while laughing. "Well now you know how I feel all the time" she answers.
"Okay now tell me!" I tell a now confused Victoria. "The thing that you wanted to talk about!?"
"Oh .... erm... yes.." she stutters "Well, yesterday Jake told me to break up with Nico, first I was angry but then I actually thought about it..."
"Wait, Jake? You mean by my cousin Jake?" I ask in shock. She nodds. "Okay I know that my family is crazy but that crazy? Why would he do that?"
"I don't know but that's not the point! The point is that I actually thought about it!" she yells and I see how tears are filling her eyes. "Hey hey hey, don't you dare cry." I say and give her a hug, but it was to late she was already crying.
After 10 minutes or so she is a little more calm. "Okay listen, you and Nico been together for over 3 month now, that is your longest relationship. I think you are confused, like always" I see a small smile. "But what if I am not" she asks "As if, come on you like him a lot and he likes you too, I can see that!" I answer and we both laugh. "Okay I guess you're right"
"Don't you remember I am always right!"
"And a little to confident in yourself"
"Ah shut up... I have to go now, I have to pick Maddy up otherwise mom will kill me... And just that you know I am going to talk to Jake tonight, because they are coming for Dinner tonight..." I tell her while standing up "But..." she tries to stop me "No buts madame, he's my cousin and I will find out what the heck is going on in his mind. Goodbye." with that I shut he door behind me leaving a confused Tory.

It is 6:30pm and my aunt and her family have already arrived, now we are all waiting for Max. I am kinda nervous because mom and dad have met him only once and some more times at the studio, where he mostly wasn't talking because we were to much focused on our make outs. Kinda awkward isn't it.
The sound of the doorbell brings me back to reality.
"Who is that?" my aunt asks.
"Her boyfriend" Maya tells her spelling the word 'boyfriend' in the most stupid way possible while smirking at me. I just glare at her and stand up to open the door.
The rest of the evening we ate dinner and Max had to go trough the typical speech from fathers. He handled it pretty well and everyone seems to like him, well except dad. He had to call him "Mister Parker" are you kidding me? Looks like he can't deal with the fact that I am growing up. I am lucky that he didn't brought up the topic 'sex' because that would've been the most awkward situation ever... not kidding.
Because of everything that happened I almost forgot to talk to Jake... almost!
We all sitting in our living room and are talking, well mostly like my boyfriend answers all the weird questions that are coming from my family.
I look over to Jake who is sitting in the Bay Window, I stand up and walk over to him. I have a mission.
"Hey Jake!" I say sitting next to him. But he doesn't answer he just stares out of the window, what the...

Jake's P.O.V.

I stare out of the window and see the snow falling on the ground. In two days is New years eve and I will kiss her at midnight!
"Okay what the heck is wrong with you?"
"What!" I snap out of my daydream.
"You were staring out of that window like an idiot!" Liv tells me and I feel like she caught me, but wait she can't know what I am thinking right? "Okay I want to know why you told Tory to break up with Nico" I am in shock, how does she know? Oh... of course they're best friends they tell each other everything. Good Job Jake!
Okay what can I say to escape the situation? Telling the truth? No way I want to live right?
"Jake, are you okay?"
"Yeah, of course I am fine, I don't know what you mean, I am totally fine... yeah I am fine..." Well done Jake, well done.
My cousin looks at me like I am crazy, well maybe I am. She looks me straight in the eyes, she has this look that just makes you want to say the truth. I grab her hand and pull her out of the room in the kitchen. "Okay what is wrong with you?" she asks still confused about what just happened.
"I like her, that is why I did it" her jaw drops. "Are you fucking kidding me? That is not a reason to tell her something like that! She loves him not you! What the hell is going on  in your stupid mind. First of all why are you such an idiot? Second of all why did you tell her that, couldn't you just deal with your feelings on your own, girls do this all the time!? Gosh! And Third of all why would you do that to your best friend?" Liv yells in my face, she didn't even realized that our entire family is standing in the same room now. "Seriously you're so stupid! You're gonna tell Tory that!" I wanted to say something ... "Don't you dare try to argue with me about that Jake Tyler Beaton! Nobody hurts my best friend and especially not you, not again!" with that she runs upstairs, leaving everyone, who stands in the kitchen, in shock.
Again great job!

The next day at the studio is really weird, I can tell that my cousin wants to kill me right now. Everytime I look over to her she glares at me.
After rehearsal I am sitting in Java Junction, alone. Suddenly Liv sits next to me. "Tell her before the new year, otherwise I will do it and trust me that is not what you want!" and with that she's already gone.
Looks like I have a mission. Even though I don't want to do that...
