Rhydian's POV
Rhydian walked back through the woods kicking leaves and sticks as he walked. Every so often mumbling things like, "Left my bag", "why'd we go so far anyway", and "It'll be dark before I get back, I'll probably get sick from the cold".
"Rhydian!" Jana said running up to him and wrapping her arms around him.
"Hey Jana. What are you doing here?" Rhydian asked, "Did you leave the pack?"
"No, he kicked me out!" She sobbed,"All I said is I wonder what life with humans is like and he called me a traitor and kicked me out. You're the only person I know outside my pack."
"It's okay Jana." Rhydian said.
"What are you doing out here?" Jana asked, realizing just how late it was Rhydian stepped away from her to continue looking for his bag.
"I left my bookbag somewhere around here earlier." He mumbled.
"Oh," Jana spoke walking over to some thick underbrush, "Is it black?"
"Yeah."
"This is?" Rhydian nodded as Jana went to speak again, "I found when you three left and I thought it was that girl's."
"Well thanks, I guess." Rhydian took it from her, "We should get walking. It's a ways to Maddy's house."
