Maddy's pov

"I know they didn't have a choice but it was still weird." Maddy's dad talked quietly with his wife as they walked out the house.

"C'mon you two, time to get you home, and ready for school." Maddy's mom ignored him and addressed the children.

"Have fun with Algebretic expressions and Jeffries." Maddy, herself, laughed as she ate breakfast.

"And what makes you think your not going."

"Mum!" Maddy whined and now it was Tom and Shannon's turn to laugh.

Maddy trudged upstairs, groaning loudly. She shifted through her closet looking for the clothes that would make up her school uniform.

"Mum where are all my school clothes?!" She jogged down the stairs.

"On the line, get the others too, dear." Her mother said, sitting at the table.

Maddy grabbed the laundry basket and walked outside. As soo as she made it out the door the smell of something along the lines of a wild Wolfblood made her freeze in her tracks. Gripping the basket, Maddy followed the scent to the clothes line.

"Hey!" Maddy yelled dropping the basket.

The girl with red hair turned around and snarled at her; Maddy didn't back down and snarled back. The thief took off running back towards the woods when Rhydian came out. She'd made far enough by the time he'd let go of her arm.

"She stole have of my stuff!" Maddy whipped around to face Rhydian.

"Calm down, Maddy, Jana didn't mean any harm." Rhydian reason.

Maddy groaned and glared in the direction of the woods,"Lets go back inside," Rhydian spoke putting the rest of the clothes in the basket.

Maddy complied and turned back towards her house with Rhydian behind her. Unknown to Maddy he kept glancing back towards the woods.
