Chapter 11

Shin and Morishige searched around the school for their missing friends but all they found were ghosts and corpses.

Every minute Shin thinks about Oka and the others, the sickening feeling in his stomach would feel worse. He made a promise he'll protect Oka. But now that she is missing. Shin feels guilty and thinks it's his fault she's gone.

He wonders if she's hurt....Or worse...Killed?

Shin: (No! No!! I don't even want to think about it!!)

Morishige: Umm...Are you okay?

Shin:...Oh...Um...Yeah...

Morishige: You sure? You look a bit...Tense...

Shin: -Sighs- I'm just worried about my friends...

Morishige: ....I see....

Shin: Hey Morishige-kun...Umm...

Morishige: Yes. What is it?

Shin: Do you have any other friends besides Mayu?

Morishige stayed silent a bit. To be honest, he wasn't really thinking much about his other classmates. Not to say he didn't think they weren't friends...But just mere acquaintances...Besides Mayu, He was also friends with Mochida, Shinozaki, and Kishinuma...But the others...Not so much. Supana is more out-going then she is. When you see the both of them together, you can tell they're inseparable. Also, then there's Daku. You might say, He's the computer geek in our club and a bit of a loner. But Chojo-kun hangs out with him sometimes. Both of them are best friends. And finally...There's Oka...We have been friends since childhood.

Morishige: ...Hmm...You also mentioned a club. What kinda club.

Shin: Oh well...All six of us are in the occult club. Oka...She's the president of the club.

Morishige: Wait occult?

Shin:...Yes...Got a problem with that?

Morishige: (He's seemed a little hostile when I mentioned the club...) No. I don't. But don't people in those types of clubs be either dangerous or manipulative?

Shin: Wait...You have a crush on her...Don't you?

Morishige blushes deeply.

Morishige: What about you. You and your friend Oka, I mean...

Shin: ....If your thinking if I like Oka...You're wrong...

Morishige: Eh?

Shin: I admit. I do like Oka...But I only see her as a friend. And I tend to keep it that way because she likes someone else anyway.

Morishige: Oh...

Shin: Also...Because I have a secret of my own.

Morishige: What?

Morishige: ..........That isn't something to laugh at.

Shin lets out a dry chuckle.

Shin: There's someone else in our school I like. He's strong. Friendly. Kind. And he's the president of the martial arts club. But I wonder...If he'll ever feel the same.

Morishige:...Higaku-san...

Shin: A-A while ago...I saw you took of picture of corpse...Why did you do that?
