Chapter 22

Shin and Oka leaves the room to go look for the children's remains.

Oka: Okay...Let's look around for the first remain...

She looked at the newspaper wwhere the children profile were in.

Oka: Ryou Yoshizawa.

Shin: So where do we look for it?

Doll: Go to the custodian's closet near the infirmary on the third floor.

They both did what the doll says and went towards up the stairs straight to the infirmary.

Shin: Now what?

Before the doll could answer, the ghost boy, Ryou, appears.

Oka: Kyaa!

Shin: Wait Oka...look!

The child was walking into the infirmary seemingly ignoring the occult leaders for now.

Shin: I don't think we should go in there until we find his remain.

Oka: Yeah...Okay Doll, now what?

Doll: Look somewhere in between the floorboards, you'll soon find it...

Shin looks around the wooden floors of the school and sees a hole. He looks inside and sees some kind of bag with Ryou's name on it.

Shin: Oka! I found it!

Oka: Great! Good job Shin!

Shin had manage to fit his hand inside and grabs the tongue bag. He looks inside and sees a tongue in there. It's Ryou's tongue...

Shin: Okay now it's time to go see him.

They both walked into the infirmary and finds Ryou in a sitting position near the corner.

Oka: -Gulp-...Here goes...

Shin: No Oka...I'll go....

Oka:....Alright...Be careful Shin....Just don't look him in the eye.

Shin nods as he carefully walks towards Ryou.

Shin now couldn't move because he got Ryou's attention and his eyes were staring into his soul.

Shin: Dammit his eyes are looking into my own. I have to look away or else.

Shin looks away after a few moments and called the child's name.

Shin: Ryou...Yoshizawa?

Ryou: ?!

Shin pulled out the tongue bag and gives it to Ryou.

Shin: Here.

The boy looked shock before making a smile when his tongue was returned to him.

Ryou: Thank you.

...Then he vanishes along with his remain.

Shin: *Sighs* Glad that's over...

Oka: Now we can look for the rest of the children's remain...

Suddenly an earthquake showed up startling the two.

Shin: Oka, look out!

A plank board had came towards Oka tumbling down to her from the ceiling.

Oka: KYAAA!

Oka dodged the board before it could hit her, falling into a hole.

Shin: Damn there's been nothing but earthquakes...If this keeps up the school will collapse!

The earthquake then come to a halt making the two occult members sigh in relief.

Shin: Are you okay Oka?

Oka: Yes. I'm fine. Thanks for the warning.

Shin nods at that and looks around.

Shin: We might as well find the rest of the remains...

Oka: Yes...Doll next remain, Tokiko Tsuji.

Doll: Go to the pool outside of the school...

After a few minutes. Shin and Oka walk outside to the back of the school finding the pool.

Shin: There it is.

They looked at the pool filled with muddy water and corpses.

Oka: Okay how do we get rid of this water...We can't just swim in there...

Shin: How about we look about. I'll keep a lookout. You go check out those stalls.

Oka: Okay.

Oka went over to the stalls while Shin looks around the pool. Suddenly, something shallow in the waters...moving....

Shin: Is...Is someone in there?

He then heard a sound.

Like...Something was calling him....

Shin:....What's....Going....On?

-Meanwhile-

Oka finds the stalls of where students usually get undress for swimming and sees a machine with a lever.

Oka: That could be it...I think I better go tell Shin-?!

Before she could finish her sentence, she heard splashing outside.

Oka ran outside of the pool. Nothing out of the ordinary...But Shin was gone. There was nothing but water.

Oka: Shin-kun? Did you fell in the pool?

She was expecting Shin to come out of the pool.

.....But...He didn't....

Did he....Drowned?

Oka: Shin?! SHIN!!!!!!!
