"Whoa!" I exclaimed.
"Beautiful!" chimed Cassie, looking out from a window I hadn't noticed before.
"No kidding, except for that smog cloud over there," Jai pointed out.
"Yeah," was all Nikki could say.
"No time for lollygagging, people! We got a mission to fulfill!" I spoke with urgency. "I just hope we're not too late..." Everyone gulped. "This could get messy, so hang on to your hearts!" I increased throttle to 3 and floored the accelerator, speeding us up to Mach 1. The tall buildings swept by and we were already flying over the ocean.
Three miles passed and we saw nothing. "Where's the carrier? Are we too... late?" I asked.
Jai tried to shake off my fears, "No! What are you saying, man!? Where's your resolve?"
"We didn't come this far just to be doubtful!" added Nikki. "Maybe the carrier is still further away from us."
"Yeah! Don't give up now... you sounded so sure of yourself awhile ago," remarked Cassie.
"G-g-guys!" Liza stammered, "WHAT IS THAT THING!?" She pointed at the windshield.
I looked at where she pointed and saw nothing. When I looked harder, I made out something huge in the distance and after half a minute, we got close to it. It had a big and long hexagonal shaped fuselage with a cone shaped nose and pentagon shaped wings. An engine on each wing separated the square part from the triangle part. Did I forget to mention that they weren't small either? The tail however was fully triangular in shape and sat on another big engine. All three engines were thruster type like a fighter jet's. On the sides behind the wings were multi-directional cannons. The square part of the wings had forward facing cannons too. Its insignia was an octagon with the letters B and A in the middle on both sides of the fuselage, on both wings and on the tail. I flew down to get a look on the belly of the aircraft. A Bombay opened up and a strange cannon protruded and followed us. I instantly became on guard.
"Hey kid, so you've finally decided to show your face here," said a voice on a megaphone from the aircraft. "Don't try to be a hero! Just land on the carrier and we'll take your jet. Nice and easy, without any trouble!"
"WHAT!? No way!" I shook my head, not believing what they had just said. "I don't trust you!"
"Think about what you're doing. We'll really spare you and your friends if you comply!"
"No, you're lying! I'll shoot you down right now!" I declared. "And besides, the F-17 belongs to me!"
"Fine! Your funeral." The big aircraft started flying off. It turned tail to me. But I somehow knew what it was up too. "One way or another, my master will get your fighter!"
"The Carrier! They're after the Carrier!" Liza pointed out for me.
"Hang on!" I floored the accelerator. We quickly caught up to it, just to see a ball of light shooting from the big cannon towards the carrier. I quickly fired a Sidewinder-54r at the ball. When they collided, a huge explosion was the product. The Carrier wasn't harmed. But it looked like it had taken some damage from earlier.
On the Carrier...
"That was close!" remarked someone in the control room of the Carrier.
"It's about time those damn kids got here," grumbled the commander. "I was just beginning to think that they had left us for dead!"
In the airship...
"The kid's good, I'll admit," said a guy in black within the airship control room. "But I'm even better!"
