~Vanoss' POV~
I walk alongside Del with Lauren still in my arms. She has a death grip on my neck, and I'm not kidding at all about that. It seems as if she's about to be abducted from me, which I won't let that happen. If you haven't noticed, I have a slight crush on Lauren. I'm almost convinced that she likes me too, but I'm not going to speak for her. I feel her move around, so I look down at her only to see her staring up at me. Well, the eyes on her mask are staring at me.
I look back up, but stop when I realize we have no way to travel. Delirious only has his bike. And I can guarantee that's not going to fit all 3 of us. I watch Jon start running, so I go at a light jog behind him. Once we reach his motorbike, I see Lui's car. Lui waves, so I nod in response. I walk towards his car, only to be stopped by Lauren wiggling to get free.
I put her down and watch her run to Del, making me sigh. No, I didn't plan the parachute thing, but I'm glad it happened like that. Cause then it makes me a hero towards her. I look away from them and crawl into the passenger seat of Lui's car. "Buckle up!" he says in his squeaker voice. I chuckle and do as he says. I feel the car back out of the parking lot, then swing into the busy street. Many honks were heard, but Lui ignored them and sped to our training area.
I look in the side mirrors to make sure they're following us. I chuckle at Del dodging all the cars, since we're all driving on the wrong side of the road. We don't really care about the law, if you couldn't tell. I feel us shift upwards, meaning we're speeding up the hill to the arena. Our training area is behind a rundown factory, in the field. Nobody goes there, or really even knows about it. I don't think anyways. Once the car goes to a stop, I unbuckle and open the door. As soon as I step out, I feel a gush of wind blow my coat a little.
I close the door, then walk towards the others are. I hear multiple gunshots, so at least they began already. I hear Del and Moon pull in, so I wait for them at the entrance of the factory. The only way to get to the field is through the factory. And how we found it is we were hiding here from the police. We just adventured around after they left and we ended up finding the field. We all agreed it was well hidden, and decent sized. So it became ours.
I watch Moon walk towards me with the hood on her head and her hands stuffed in the pockets of her coat. I chuckle as she reaches me. "Not smart riding with Delirious in the middle of winter, now is it?" I tease. She punches me playfully, but laughs lightly. I remove a little of my sleeve, seeing if I can stand the cold. Once I was sure I can, I lend my coat to Moon. She looks over at me, then pushes my jacket away.
"I'm sure one of the guys has a spare, take it." I order. She laughs, then takes my offer. I watch her slide it on. I laugh at how big it is on her. But at the same time, it's really kind of cute. It seems almost like she's swimming. I wonder if this'll affect her training. Guess we'll find out. Finally, Lui and Jon both come to the entrance, so we all walk in. We walk up the rusty stairs, but I stop when I don't hear Lauren's footsteps anymore.
I look behind me and see her stopped at the bottom. "I don't trust these." she says. "If all of our fat asses can go up these with no troubles, I'm sure your skinny butt can come up these and not break the stairs." I tell her. The other two turn around and start laughing, so I chuckle along. She finally gives in and starts her way up. We all resume walking, and finally make it to the back door. I open it and reveal more rusted stairs that lead down to the field.
"Isn't there another way around? We could've avoided a flight of stairs." she complains. "With the way we have it set up, you would've probably been killed if you went through the other way. We have some targets set up for knife throwing. We don't like having to search for our knives, so we propped the target against the building. And most of us practice the most on that. So yeah." I explain. She nods in understandment, then heads down with the others.
I follow them and yell out "We're going to be here for about 3 hours unless it starts snowing." Everyone faces me, but quickly go back to what they were doing. Some give me a thumbs up. I walk down the last few steps and walk up to Moon. She's staring out into space, meaning she's zoned out. "What're you good at?" I ask. She jumps and faces me, so I just chuckle. "I'm good at nothing. Just being a conceiving girl pretty much. I can shoot a small hand gun as well." she tells me. I nod.
I walk up to the knife area, but turn to make sure she's following. Once I see she is, I pick up a knife off the table, which the guys apparently set up when they got here, and hand it to her. "You know how to throw a knife?" I ask. I watch her shake her head, then hang it in shame. I lift her head back up, then grab a knife off the table. "You hold it by the blade. You want most of your movements from the wrist. When you throw, you have to flick it." I explain, then do what I just told her.
I step out of her way, then watch her begin to throw it. I grab her arm, meaning stop. "What am I doing wrong?" she asks, almost as if she expected this. "Your leg position. You need to make it to where you're facing more towards the side. Like you're walking forward, then you quickly turn and throw." I tell her, moving her legs to the proper position. I nod, meaning go. She nods back, then aims. When she throws, I hear the clank of it hitting the building. She groans in frustration.
I simply grab another knife and put it in her hand, careful of the blade. "Just try again." I say calmly. She gets back to where to was, then throws again. I watch as her wrist flicks slightly to the side. "I see the problem.." I begin. I walk up to her, then touch her wrist. She lightly hisses, meaning pain. "That's the wrist that got hurt.." she mumbles. I nod. "Guess we'll have to come back to knife throwing later on, then." I say, then signal for her to follow.
I bring her to a hand gun table, which I can tell her spirit rises at the sight of them. Guess she likes hand guns. I hand her a simple pistol, which makes her groan. "I want my PK380." she complains. I grab a similar gun to the one she just said, making her a bit happier. She checks to see if it's loaded, then loads it back up and aims. She shoots 5 times, hitting each arm, each leg, and the stomach. I go wide eyed at her perfect aim.
"The arms will make it so the don't bleed out as fast. The legs is so they don't run. The stomach is so they won't last very long. Where I shoot specifically depends on the situation. I mostly go for the legs though." she tells me. I continue standing still in shock. Not even I can shoot that perfectly. I hear her giggle, bringing me out of my shocked state. I smile, knowing this training will be different than most of our training sessions.
