Chapter 20

~Lauren's POV~

I see Bryce and Ohm hug, making a scene in front of everyone. If Ohm was bisexual like Bryce, I would probably be shipping them right now. Maybe Bryce could help turn his focus away from me and instead put it onto himself. Possibly even turn Ohm gay or bisexual so that he would have a chance. I think that would be so adorable.

I look around at everyone, most of them with shocked faces. I guess they didn't expect us to return with Ryan. I wouldn't either with what happened if we're being honest. There are, however, a few with relieved faces. And I can see that side of things as well. Ohm is a great person and very strong, so he's a big part of the team. He is one of our field people afterall. 

Not that I would actually know his true strength though. I've never seen any of them in a full combat motion. I know a few of them have strong rage problems, but that doesn't mean that they're any good in a real battle.....unless you count a GMod or GTA battle.. that shit gets real. Unless you have me, then it's Mortal Kombat that gets my ass pumped up.

After the awkward little reunion, I walk up to my brother and whisper in his ear. "Then get something to eat! I'm not your fucking butler!" he yells at me. "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO SAY 'YES M'LADY!" I yell back. "Yes M'lady" I hear Evan's voice say behind me. I turn around and see him bowed down. "See, that's what a good butler does," I say to Jon. 

He rolls his eyes and walks into the living room. I tap Evan's head, so he looks up at me with a little smile on his face. I smile back and step towards him. Once his hands reach to grab me, I quickly run off into the living room where Luke, Jon, Ryan, and Craig are already sitting. I jump into the open seat by Craig, only for him to bounce off. 

"WHAT THE HELL?!" he yells as he lifts himself up off the floor. I look at him and burst out laughing at what just happened. I guess this is a movement responsive couch. I hear everyone else laugh as well, making an embarrassed Mini. I stand up to help him off the ground, only to topple over, out of breath with all the laughing. 

Eventually, he starts to laugh as well, probably realizing how funny he looked flying off the sofa. "What happened?" Daithi asks, walking in. I tell him not to worry about it, so he shrugs and walks back into the kitchen. I see Tyler and Avalon walk in with big grins on their faces. "Well well, if it isn't the new weds," I announce. They both shoot daggers at me, so I smile a cocky grin. Avalon is still complicated to me, but I decided it's best to try to get along with her for the time being.

I get off the floor and finally help Mini, then walk into the game room where I find Moo, Lui, Bryce, and Scotty getting ready for a game of GTA. I sit in the blue bean bag chair next to Lui and watch them begin a race. Moo already has the upper hand since he got the head start. They're playing deadline and Brock seems OP at it. 

Other than the fact that Ohm tried to take me from my family, this day has been really fun. I hope it's always like this. Because these boys...never cease to surprise me.
