Chapter 7 (Halloween Edition)

Selena POV

Today is Halloween, so that means today is the party.
I don't know what to wear,
to be honest,
I don't really know why I agreed to come to this party.
Maybe it's because I don't have friends?
Well the only friends I have here is Danielle and Harry.
Liam is my friend but he's my brother so it's weird,
and I just met Niall.
Plus, Zayn is a complete jerk,
his friend Louis, isn't any better.
What was I thinking when I said yes?
I should just go to Liam's phone, call Niall's number,
and they him or Harry that I'm not going.
A knock hit my door as it completely takes me out of my thoughts,
"come in"
The door opens, revealing the familiar super curly haired girl,
"hey" she smiled.
"hi" I greeted as I went back to drawing at my desk.
"what are you up to?"
"nothing, in my thoughts"
"is it about Harry?" she smirks as my eyes widen.
"what makes you-"
"I know you like him Sel, you look at him the same way I looked at Liam when I met him" she smiles as she sits on my bed.
"I-I don't like Harry?" I said it, but more of a question-like tone.
"Oh sure, so what's wrong?
You seem down love"
"it's nothing" I shook my heads I go back to drawing.
"Come on, you can trust me.
I'm not just your brother's girlfriend, I'm also your friend who cares" she said as I sighed.
She does have a point,
Danielle is practically my friend now.
Why not trust her?
"Well last night when Harry and Niall were leaving,
Harry had invited me to a Halloween party at some frat house and all the students from the academy, Liam and I work at, are going.
I don't want to go since I don't know anyone,
I'll just feel like an outsider.
But, at the same time,
I do want to go because -"
"Harry will be there?" Danielle finishes my sentence,
I just nodded.
"did you agree to go already?"
"yeah"
"Then go with him, have fun!
You just can't always be closed up here in this flat all day" she told me.
Maybe I should go,
Danielle wants me to have fun and I want to have fun,
I do want to go!
But one thing that's holding me back is . . . .
"What about Liam?
He won't let me go to a party full of strangers,
Li won't even let me talk to boys so if he knows I'm going with Harry, he'll freak"
"Oh don't worry about him,
I got your back.
Is Niall going to the party as well?"
"yeah"
"Then tell Liam your going with Niall, he can't freak if he sees his sister and best mate bonding" that's not a bad idea, now I just need to solve one more thing,
"but I don't have a costume and the party's tonight"
"hmm, that is a problem" she said as she taps her chin with her finger and thinks.
"oh, I have this costume I wore two years ago.
I think it'll just might fit you" she said as I nod nervously,
"Don't worry Selena, I'm here for you if you need anything.
I have your back" she smiles as I smirked,
"thanks Dani" I said as I hug her tightly.
Looks like I'm going to a party tonight.

"there you go" Danielle whispers as she finishes my makeup.
"you look great" she smiled,
I looked over to the mirror as I see myself in a Wonder Woman's costume.
I look at Danielle in her Egyptian princess costume,
"why can't you go to the party with me?" I groaned as she chuckles,
"well because I'm staying with Liam to give out candy to the children,
you'll be fine without me"
"woah, I see Wonder Woman and a princess of Egypt the room" Liam walks in,
"I know, huh Batman?" I smirked as I look at Liam's Batman costume.
"so what time will Niall be picking you up?"
"I don't know, I guess-"
* DING DONG *
"right now" I shrugged as we chuckled,
I walk over to the door as I see Niall in a leprechaun costume,
"hey"
"hey, nice costume"
"thanks" Niall smiles.
"Hey Nialler, I always knew you were a leprechaun" Liam jokes as we chuckled,
well Niall is Irish.
"ready to go?"
"yeah, see you later guys"
"have you phone with you at all times, and don't talk to strangers, also-"
"Liam, Liam she will be fine.
She's with me" Niall said as he flops my cap around.
"okay" Liam sighs, he walks up to me and hugs me tightly,
"just be careful"
"I will Liam, I promise" I said, kissing his cheek.
"alright come on, I want to party!" Niall shouts excitedly.
"okay bye Li, bye Dani"
"be safe" Liam said as Niall and walk out, closing the door.
"so, ready to see Harry downstairs?" he asked me.
I felt my face form into a smile, just by thinking about Harry.
"yeah, I'm ready"
