Your week was just not going the way you wanted it to. Your job was busy and more annoying than usual, people everywhere you went were just rude, basically your week had been truly amazing. You finally had a day off and you just wanted to spend it with your boyfriend. He had been pretty busy and you hoped your lucky stars were listening and made your tiny request happen.
You came in from getting some groceries for the week, and noticed Riker wasn't there waiting for you on the couch like he always does. You sighed and started to put the items away. You started looking for things to make for dinner when your back door opened, appearing Riker.
"Would you come outside?" He asked and you set down a box and walked outside. You gasped at the sight. He hung some fairy lights outside and underneath was a table and two chairs.
"What is this?" You laughed while covering your mouth.
"It's just some lights, and I ordered a pizza, nothing too fancy, but this week was a killer for you and I wanted to do something to make you relax, maybe smile for once." He said and you turned around to hug him.
"This is perfect. Thank you so so much baby." He grabbed your hand and walked you guys to the little table.
"You're the best cook ever did you know that?" You laughed as you put another piece on your plate.
"I know, but I think you should kiss the cook, you know, for a seal of approval." Riker grinned.
"But what if I don't wanna kiss you?" You asked and Riker did a fake gasp.
"I am so hurt." He looked away and you laughed again. You walked over to him and he pulled you on his lap, which caught you by surprise.
"I'm so glad to see you smile baby I love you." He said as he pressed his lips against yours.
After you both ate he cleaned up the area and dragged something else out of the garage.
"Lay with me." He said as you walked to the patio swing fit for two.
"Thank you for tonight. This was so cute, and you are cute too I guess." You sighed in content and he kissed you on your forehead.
"Anything for you baby." He put his arm around you, and it was the best feeling in the world.
