Leaving seems so much easier now. Now, that you have left me.
You're not here, but I still find you.Even without looking, I find you in your letter and songs. I find you in last lines of half finished poems.
I find you in empty drawers and unspoken silence. I find you in the space on the couch. I find you in my mother's necklace.
I find you in the spaces between my fingers. I find you in bed, when I'm sleeping a little late on Sundays.
I find you on the handle of the mug of your favorite drink, coffee. Your traces on photographs of the places you loved. I find you in everything you used to touch.
Somedays, late at night, I can feel your hands wrapped around me and your chin above my head. I can feel your fingers stroking my hair and you lips whispering my name.
No wonder I wake up numb those days.I find you on park benches in salt lake and on lonely swings. I find you on my to morning talk. I find you in all my unprepared dinners and all my unsent letters.
I find you on good nights and good mornings. I find you near the window sill. I find you in coffee stains and in everywhere.
I find you in piles of my bookshelf, on the titles of the books I wanna give you.
I find you on pavement side late-night coffee cravings. I find you on an evening in my terrace.
You left unannounced and you took a light inside of me with you. But even without that light, I still find you in the darkest of places. I still find you.
