I had no sense of time but estimated that this had been going on for at least a week. The nurse with the blonde hair would come everyday. She would feed me standard hospital food, give me water, and ask the same questions.

I thought that my Hogwarts letter had probably already come and was just sitting at home collecting dust. I knew I would never be able to go to Hogwarts, and it saddened me greatly. I became more and more depressed over the course of the week.

When the nurse came in that day I was fully prepared to tell her to just take the Daevas soul fragment out and kill me. But when she came in she was not alone. A man with short gray hair and a small beard came in behind her. I closed my eyes and tried to ignore their presence.

I was curious as to who the strange man was, but didn't have the energy to ask. I smelled the hospital food but didn't want to eat it. I had refused the food for a few days now. I could hear the man and the nurse whispering but I blocked them out, keeping my eyes closed.

"Ms. Greystroke, the Headmaster of Hogwarts is here to talk to you." My eyes flew open, and I immediately tried to sit up. I growled in frustration when I couldn't sit up because of the leather straps. I looked at the Headmaster. "Mrs. Patricia, I do believe that it would be more pleasant for Ms. Greystroke to be able to stretch out."

The nurse bit her lower lip nervously. "Well...she is being restrained as a precaution...if the Daevas takes control of her body she is a liability and could kill someone." I flinched when the nurse spoke, she made it sound like I was some savage beast.

The Headmaster smiled warmly. "I think that I could handle her if she gets out of control." He winked over in my direction I gave a small smile. The nurse hesitated before walking over to my bed and looking down at me. I stared back into her icy blue eyes. She sighed deeply and started unbuckling the straps.

When she had finished I sat up slowly and stretched out my arms. At first it hurt to stretch them out, but after a moment it felt great. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and placed my feet on the ground tentatively. I winced when my bare feet made contact with the cold tile.

I stood up and was slightly wobbly but regained my balance quickly. I looked at the Heasmaster. "Thank you sir, I really appreciate it, I've been stuck in that bed for a week." The Headmaster gave me a bright smile. "Oh no problem, I much prefer to talk to you standing up, I believe it gives one more dignity." I nodded.

"Ok, Ms. Greystroke, I am here to personally deliver your Hogwarts letter."
