I woke up to the beeping of a machine again. I slowly opened my eyes and was met with the same plain white hospital room. I tried to move my arms but they were still bound. I turned my head to the side and saw the same chair but my mum was not in it.

I sighed heavily and stared up at the ceiling, trying to process what the nurse had said. "What could she have meant when she said 'the madness had me'?" I closed my eyes hoping that this was all some huge nightmare and I'd wake up soon.

I heard the door open and the sound of heels clicking across the white tile floor, coming towards me, but I ignored them and kept my eyes closed. "Ms. Greystroke, I must ask you questions."

I groaned and opened my eyes, but refused to look at the nurse. "Fine. Whatever go ahead." "State your full name." I let out an exasperated sigh. "Jade Lila Greystroke." "Good, now how many siblings do you have?" "One." I said flatly, annoyed that she was asking me the same questions. "And what's their- I cut her off. "Jeremy Duncan Greystroke." I heard her scribble on her clipboard and I finally looked at her.

I saw it was the same nurse from yesterday. She turned to leave. "Oh no. No no no no, you can't just drop a bomb on me telling me 'the madness has me' and then not tell me anything. And just because I blacked out doesn't mean I'm any less curious as to why I'm tied up, why there's glass between me and a chair, AND WHY THE HELL DO YOU KEEP ASKING ME THESE STUPID QUESTIONS!?"

I realized I had yelled and I lowered my voice, though it quivered with rage. "Tell me now, I have the right to know." The nurse pulled a small wand out of her pocket and waved it, causing a chair to appear by my bed. She sat in it and looked at me with a grave expression.

"Ms. Greystroke, to put it simply you have done some terrible things and that is why you are being restrained." I stared at her blankly. "Terrible things? You mean like pranking my older brother?" "No, you, Ms. Greystroke, are a murderer."
