Chapter 1

''Life is much more easier than people think,you don't have to be so serious about everything and problems can always be easily solved." Well these were the words I've always repeated to everyone,even to myself but now everything changed..I mean everything changed.
I had no emotions,no tears left,as I was watching the people all in black walking towards me saying the same thing,I didn't even pay attention to.
We were once four in our family-me,my mom,my dad and my little brother.
Now it was just me,they had gone..one faithful accident and everything is over.
I was no more watching those people walking around,crying,being sad and hugging each other,I was tired.
I sighed and opened my car,I got for my 16th birthday,just a year ago and now look,they're all gone. And here I am left alone,my whole life is about to change.
I started the car,my vision was blurred but somehow I managed to look clearly and started driving.
Soon I was in front of my house,it was all empty.
There was no way I was going to live in here alone,I think I'll sell this house and maybe buy a smaller one.I don't even need a house like this anymore,I don't have anyone and I have to start my life differently now.
I opened the door and went up to my room,threw all the clothes to my suitcase and closed it.
I went to my parents' room and threw all their stuff out from the window,I don't care if I'm insane right now,I need to get rid of the memories I'll have,the terrible memories that will always torture me from now.Then I found all the toys of Eddie threw them out too,I was crying now when I was looking at his toys.
Once I finished that,I went to my backyard and burnt all the things that I threw out minutes ago.
I felt relief as much as I felt guilt,I felt sadness as much as I felt nothing.
People in my situation may think that everything is over,that just their family died you're dead too,but no I am not that kind of person,I have to and will stay stable,strong,I will work things out even if I am alone.
I took off my glasses and wiped my tears,I have a serious vision problem,without glasses and contacts my vision is blurred.
I put them on again and headed to the hall,I took my laptop and went through the internet.
I published two advertisements,the first was about that the house was selling and the second was that a young girl was looking for a small house.
When I finished it I went in the kitchen to eat something but there was nothing.
So I called for pizza and in about 15 minutes there was a bell on a door,I opened it and payed for the pizza.
I almost ate all of it,I was hungry,for the two days I finally felt hunger.
I threw the rest of the pizza in the bin,my phone rang.
"Hello?I call for the advertisement you published,I want to talk about the details."A female said with a low,annoying voice.
"You mean the price,am I right?"
"Yes Miss,I will pay any price just the house needs to be ready in two days so I can move there."Pay any price?Well that's interesting how much she can offer.
"I will send you the details to your email."She told me her email and I added that she could see the house tomorrow at about 2pm and when I hang up,I immediately sent her the price,address and house details.
I was empty,I just couldn't process anything that happend.
I went upstairs,straight to the bathroom and took my glasses of,then I undressed and laid into the hot bath.
I hate how my body looks like,it's not that I am fat,am I?I mean I have curves and a little belly but the rest of my body is normal like other girls.
I put some shampoo on my hair and washed it off,when I finished everything I took my towel and dried my body and my hair.
I put some grey pants and an oversized shirt and headed to the bed,it felt so weird sleeping here,in this house now.I don't think I can sleep here anymore.
I took my phone and dialed my bestfriend's phone number,in a few seconds she answered.
"Thank god you called me,I was trying to call you the whole day and I couldn't even find you on the funeral,are you alright?"Her voice was full of worry,I sighed.
"I only stayed for a few minutes close to people,the rest of it I was watching from the other side no one could see."I heard her mumble something.
''Anyway I wanted to tell you that I'm selling my house.."
"WHAT?!Ave Are you crazy?!You.."I knew her reaction would be like this.
"I am crazy?Cam do you know how is it like living in a house full of emptyness when you know your family was there a week ago and now they are not,you know that the memories will haunt me."She stayed silent,so I just went on.
"If you may let me explain myself,I was about to tell you that I already have a customer and tomorrow she will come and see the house,I want to move in somewhere in a smaller house,I wanted to ask you that if I can stay at your house for a few days.."I slowed down in the end.
"Of course you can Ave,you know you don't even have to ask that."She said with excitement in her voice
"Thank you,Cam one more thing,can I just come right now?I know it is a bit late but sleeping here would be disaster for me,I stayed to my grandma's this week and I.."I was about to tell her that I was tired at staying at my grandma's house because all she is doing is reminding me about my already dead family and I couldn't take it anymore but she interrupted.
"Oh my god,yes yes please come right now Ave!"She said loudly.
"Okay then,see you soon."I hung up and took my suitcase downstairs,put it in the car and headed straight to Cameron's house.
She lived alone since she was a few years older than me,but we got along perfectly and were great friends,even though I was a total idiot to her sometimes.
Soon I was in front of her house,lights were on,I knew that Cameron was in the house but she was supposed to be alone,she shouldn't be needing this much light. She opened the door before I dragged my suitcase out of the car and she helped me to take it to the house.
"Well there you are."She kissed me on the cheek and hugged me.
"I..uh..here I am."I smiled at her and hugged Cam back.
"I know how you must be feeling Ave,I will support you with everything I have and how much I can."She told me and I thanked her.
"I know Cam and I really am happy that I have you,just please try not to mention them again,I just can't.."I was interrupted by a boy a bit taller than me who was shouting,I couldn't see him anymore because he was running but I still saw that he had tattoos covered his arms and back.
"STOP IT DUDE I'M SERIOUS!"He shouted when the other boy was chasing him and splashing water.
"Ethan!Grayson!Stop it right now!"Cameron yelled but they didn't even pay attention,didn't even notice I was there.
"Sorry,I forgot to tell you that my brothers are staying with me,they are in college now and my parents thought that instead of hiring them another apartment they could just stay with me.Don't give me that look they are twins."She explained then laughed and I nodded,I remembered she had brothers but I had never seen them nor I knew they were twins since they lived in USA-New Jersey and I lived in UK-London.
"Oh will they ever grow up!"She yelled and went out from the kitchen to keep them quiet as they were still running through the house and laughing loudly.I am annoyed by them,eventhough they are clueless what has happened to me,they don't even know that I am here right?I went back to the hall and called Cameron's name.
"Sorry,I explained them the situation and they will no more bother you."I thanked her.
"Cam where am I going to sleep?"I asked and bit my lip.
"Oh right,here give me that suitcase." She took it and we went upstairs,she headed into some room and told me I could stay here as long as I wanted.
I thanked her once again before she left and hugged her,then she wished me sweet dreams,but I fear I couldn't have them anymore.
